“definitely will come back”
Friendly service.great rooms.pool was great.restaurant was delicouse. Comfurtable place to stay.cant wait to go back.
“Great Stay”
We planned a trip to Legoland and noticed this hotel was adjacent to the park. Not only is it adjacent to the park, but it has it's own private, "back door" entrance, which is just a short walk down a winding path from the main lobby of the hotel. This made it even more convenient for us or any guests planning to visit Legoland. The hotel location relative to San Diego was great too. About a 30 min. ride down the 5 Freeway and you're in downtown San Diego. For a more scenic drive, you can take Pacific Highway down the coast and drive through La Jolla. Everything we experienced between San Diego and Carlsbad was spectacular, including the Sheraton Resort and Spa. We didn't take advantage of the Spa, so I can't comment first hand on those facilities, but if it's anything like the rest of the hotel (and I'm guessing it is), there will be no disappointments. From the friendliness of the staff to the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms, to the overall feel of this resort style hotel, everything was top notch. This was my first taste of the west coast and what a great impression it left on me. I can't wait to go back. If you're looking for a place that's a little removed from the city pace, yet close enough to get there when you want to, I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Very new hotel”
Room still had the "new" smell. Not a large property but nice nonetheless. We did not eat in the hotel Twenty/20 restaurant but I have heard the food is good. Good, responsive room service. It was a busy weekend (July 4th) but they appeared to handle being sold out rather well.

Hotel overall and room, food, pool and especially staff were top notch. I could not have been pleased more.
“Great trip...breakfast menu needs a little work”
The private entrance to Legoland convinced us to stay here. With 3 kids under the age of 9 we are all about convenience and fun. Our only complaint really was the breakfast menu. We would have liked more options especially with eggs for the adults as well as the children.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Carlsbad resort and spa.The rooms were very clean.The workers very helpful and kind.The access to Legoland was very convenient.Would surely stay there next time.One drawback is the parking fee for our rental car.
“Very satisfied”
We spent 3 days a this Sheraton while we visited Legoland. It was a comfortable and very kid oriented resort. The pool is huge and has lots of places for tired parents to relax while kids swim. Even had wait staff at the pool to bring drinks or snacks. There was a movie night by the pool one night we were there. I was very disappointed by the quality of the coffee drinks in the lobby. They boast Starbucks coffee but it was weak and probably one of the most dissappointing vanilla latte's I've had. We took avantage of local eateries mostly and found some great food establishments. The outlet mall is close by and has great shops. Overall, we were very comfortable at this hotel and really enjoyed the Carlsbad area. We certainly would consider returning.

“Legoland fun”
Excellent service. Hotel located within walking distance from Legoland which is the purpose of our trip. Very good restaurants nearby as well as the beach. We've been there two years running and expect to return next year.

Convenient location to visit Legoland and surrounding areas, excellent staff and service, we had a fun and relaxing stay. Ideal for families with kids.
