“Can't wait to go back”
Hotel clean. Staff friendly. Beautiful grounds. Nice pool and spa.
“A Romantic Getaway”
The San Vicente Resort was a complete pleasure. The room was spacious and cool with a lovely view of the golf course from the good-sized patio. The bed was very comfortable with luxurious bedding, and we were very pleased with the bathroom as well. We had a fantastic breakfast every morning in the dining room overlooking either the pool or the golf course, and the lounge in the evening was always friendly and fun. The staff at the resort were wonderful...very friendly and helpful. It's a bit out of the way from San Diego (in Ramona), but we always enjoyed the little jaunt and felt like the San Vicente was our "little haven" out in the country. Highly recommended!
“Good Inexpensive Stay”
We stayed here for a friend's wedding in the area and we had a great experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel had tasty food for a low price and we even got a little discount for staying at the hotel. Mostly though the service was incredible. Mary Lou at the front desk in particular was extremely helpful in assisting me and my group with our needs and she conducted herself in a very friendly manner.
“The Fallbrook Guy's review”
I have stayed at The San Vicente Inn more than 50 nights in the last year. I have never seen or heard a mouse in any of the rooms at the resort. Likewise I have never had to walk through a cloud of smoke to enter the hotel lobby. San Vicente is a great place to stay, great golf course, great hotel rooms for the price being paid as well as great customer service in all areas of the resort. Plus they have just completed a new bar area. The Fallbrook guy must of just havd a bad day. who knows.
“San Vicente Golf Resort”
My wife and I took our 3 granddaughters with us and we had a great time. The food was very good at a very reasonable price. The room was clean and the staff treated us with most respect. I will stay there again this time I will be playing golf.
“Substandard”
Despite California law, smoking was allowed at enterence way to lobby. One had to literally push through the smokers and smoke. Despite their being a lifeguard on duty at the pool and signs to the contrary, a toddler was allowed in the hot-tub area. A mouse disturbed our sleep several time, including once when I had to fling my toes under the covers to flip him off the bedspread.
“Frank's Review”
Beautiful setting, wonderful service, convenient to all San Diego amenities.........Highly recommended
“great hotel, great room, great ambiance, not so great location”
if your goal is other than playing golf at their course, it seems like the location is a bit far from just about everything else. i stayed here because the nearest hotel/casino was twice as much. very happy about my choice and very happy with the actual hotel. the only gripe is the location as it's just about 10 minutes from everything. i guess it was something i didn't expect but should have researched. great hotel.
“Nice Stay Alternative to Staying in Julian”
My wife and I made a last minute trip to Julian for the Daffodil Festival and all rooms in Julian were booked. I was lucky to find something in nearby Ramona. Our room was clean and well-furnished (and very inexpensive due to the off-season timing of our visit - late March). We enjoyed their restaurant for both dinner and breakfast the following morning. The staff was very friendly and the location very quiet, relaxing and bucolic. I would recommend.
“excellent vacation place and golf area”
very nice place and friendly and very scenic.
