“Great lil ole Condo”

Overall this resort was satisfactory. We stayed there to be close to the Barona Pow Wow so it was a 20 minute drive there. The unit was clean except the bathroom trash had not been emptied before we came. We greatly appreciated the kitchen which satisfied our less than demanding needs. We enjoyed the pool which was really great when we had almost an hour to ourselves. It can be too crowded. We appreciated the weekend breakfasts, but there was a limited selection from 8-9. All of the employees were friendly except for the breakfast woman who was grumpy and overwhelmed by restocking 4 items plus coffee. Also the couch bed was awkward to set up because we had to move the coffee table. The living room TV was not situated in a condusive way to watch from the couch or the chairs unless you're a contortionist. It needs to be rearranged. We did not have time to do other activities but there were many great choices. We may return.

Area recommendations

Downtown Ramona was quaint and had everything we needed on the Main Street. It was only about 10 minutes away. The Pizza-Sub resturant on San Vicente had great pizza and was only 5 minutes away. It is a picturesque area where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables at stalls along the way. People staying there were visiting every place from beaches to higher mountain locals such as Julien. It was a good location and pleasant place to stay for us since the Barona casino, hotel, and delicious buffet were 20 minutes away. We were there for the Barona Pow Wow which is held every Labor Day weekend.

“Near a Casino”

Not only is it a beautiful setting and near Wild Animal Park, it is also 15 minutes from Barona Casino. Everything to do is there.

“would definitley go back!”

Wonderful desert-like setting! Very comfortable and well laid out rooms. Very spacious accomodations. Horse back riding right on the premises! Great for children who have never ridden. Close to Ramona, a lovely quaint little town.

Can barbecue right by the pool. Shop in Ramona for groceries...lots of big food stores there. There is a little grocery store nearby that is also very well stocked for emergency supplies.
