“Wonderful hotel!”
A wonderful hotel--the staff absolutely spoiled me rotten!
“Big room, full kitchen, great price”
The room was huge, enough space for a king bed, a couch with a foldout bed, a small kitchen, and a small desk for working on a laptop. There was a separate room for the tub and toilet and that was actually really small. The facilities look kind of dated, but everything is clean and in working order. It's not a 5-star place, but it had everything you could ask for and for a reasonable price. The breakfast was very average tasting but they had a good selection of stuff, and Mon-Wed evenings they have a happy hour with food like burritos and hamburgers and hot dogs. The only drawback to this place was that it was supposed to be nonsmoking, but we would see people sneaking in a smoke in various places, especially in the evening. The staff was great about trying to stop people from smoking, but I understand there's only so much you can do. The best thing about this place was the full-size kitchen with clean utensils to use.
“Half mile away from the UCSD SOM!”
Great place to stay if you have a UCSD medical school interview there, although a bit pricey. It is about a 15 min walk to the telemedicine building, which is the main reason why I chose here. The room was surprisingly nice, suite style with couch living room area and kitchen. Only complaint would be that the heating was noisy, waking me up in the middle of the night several times.

Excellent staff, comfy rooms, adequate breakfast. I stayed here because of it's closeness to UCSD.It would be a great place to stay with a family or on a business trip.
“A very nice place to stay”
The management at this hotel was outstanding. Every request was promptly carried out. The king size mattress was just the best I've ever slept on The room was spacious and clean and everything it was billed to be.

This was an excellent deal with the breakfasts and 3 dinners thrown in. The location was convenient, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and they even provided a free shuttle for any location within 5 mi of the hotel. There were much pricier places closer to San Diego but this was definitely the best value around.

It was a good stay, excellent directions to go anywhere, good service, clean. This is a pricey area.

I would recommend staying at this hotel. It was very convenient to the tourist sites in and around San Deigo.
“King size bed is comfortable”
The king size bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in!
“Wonderful time”
The location and room was perfect for us because we were mainly going to Mirmar Marine base. The room was clean, breakfast was great and really enjoyed the free cookout and drinks on our first night there. My wife was even able to cook my son a meal when he came back from a 7 month deployement in the middle east.
