“Should be reduced from 2 stars to 1 star- Not Impressed”
There were never enough towels for 3 people during 10 day stay.No alarm clock available.Smoking by attendants when cleaning nonsmoking rooms observed. We had to purchase air freshener to eliminate smell of smoke in a nonsmoking room.Handicap access at end of building and not enough parking. Lot shared with 24 hr Denny's restaurant.Ceilings,walls and floors transmit sound.
“Had to plunge my own toilet!!!”
Horrible - Horrible - Horrible!! After a long day of packing, moving, and storing, I and my three cats looked forward to getting into my hotel room and relaxing and resting until the next day. The desk clerk (and his wife?) were infuriating. They first told me that no pets were allowed and they did not have a kitchenette - two things I specified when making my reservation. They said to get a refund from Expedia because I paid Expedia not them. After intervention by a couple of friends I was told that if I paid an additional $25 per night per pet and a $100 pet deposit, I would be able to have a room. I could not afford an additional $500+ so only admitted to having one cat. The clerk finally agreed to $90 for the stay for one cat as well as a $50 refundable deposit. When my daughter and her boyfriend visited me, I was told I was not allowed to have guests. When I called about my clogged toilet, I was told there was nothing he could do. I asked for and received a plunger. I finally had use of my toilet but only after hours of trying to plunge it on my own. The Continental Breakfast advertised was disgusting tasting coffee (and I mean really disgusting), a small pre-packaged danish (only one per room was authorized) and one individual box of cereal. Milk, one plastic spoon and one styrofoam bowl were allowed for the cereal. A carafe of juice was also available but goodness knows what was in there. This stay was HORRIBLE.
