Rancho Valencia's 49 guestrooms are located in 25 one-story casitas separated by citrus and palm trees, bougainvillea, honeysuckle, and other native plants. Accessed via exterior corridors, accommodations have private, furnished garden patios. Decor includes open-beamed cathedral ceilings, sunken living areas with gas fireplaces, and hand-painted Mexican tiles.
Spacious bathrooms include separate showers and tubs (some with jetted tubs and steam showers), TVs, telephones, custom-made toiletries, and makeup/shaving mirrors. All accommodations have minibars, wet bars, DVD and CD players, multi-line phones, and complimentary high-speed wired and wireless Internet access.
Robes and slippers are provided, as is nightly turndown service. A choice of complimentary newspapers and freshly squeezed Valencia orange juice are delivered each morning. Guests may borrow complimentary DVDs and CDs from a list provided in each suite.

“Amazing place - just a little noisy”
Hubby and I did our first night away from the kids here - 1 night was not enough. Everything was lovely - except the noise of the construction outside our room. When we said something upon checkout they just said "oohhhh, sorry about that." It's fine - but it would have been nice to have them that they would fix it for the next customer, or ?? It is a very expensive place to be woken up early by crazy noise and shouting workers... (But we were the lucky ones that had the din right outside the room - everyone else was probably fine.)

“Beautiful respite for relaxation”
Beautiful grounds with lemon and orange trees everywhere. The rooms are large,, very clean and beautiful with private terraces. Very private resort, only one restaurant, but close to Del Mar and La Jolla ocean side towns. Alone, or a definite for romantic getaways or family gatherings. Beautiful spa as well. Also known for tennis, with a large number of courts scattered around and pros ready to help.
“Hated to leave”
Fabulous resort, gret food, perfect weather, wonderful people, and all the tennis we could handle. My wife was ready to move in and we all hated to leave.

Excellent resort hotel. Area is quiet and secluded from city. Grounds are meticulously maintained and the room was exceptional.
