“Incredible customer service!!!”

On first glance,the outside looked a little worn,but not too bad. The foyer by the front desk was quite nice with comfy couches,coffee machine and two computers. But to the left of the front desk,just passed the laundry and gym facilities,the carpets were dirty and old-hopeing that our room was not going to look like this.We decided to give it a chance ,seeing it was about 1 am.Besides if it was- we could always change in the morning. They gave us a business suite in the newer building at the back,their hallway carpets weren't any better.Almost afraid to look in our room at this point-all I cared about is that it was clean.Needless to say ,it was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable,especially after a whole day of travelling. Would I stay here again?Absolutely!!The staff was so friendly and accomadating,helpful in every way imaginative.They also gave us free bottles of water,which was heaven considering the weather was hot and muggy!!!Oh did I mention we walked just about every where within walkin distance.The only negative part to our two week stay was the older shuttle driver,didn't talk much and not very personable,but the other two were fantastic. Honestly cannot say enough good things.Make sure to ask for the newer detached building with a room facing the hillside,did not hear any of the traffic noise,seeing that it is by the freeway.I have not met such friendly staff and that says alot about the hotel.Carpets?What carpets?

“Great hotel - great rates”

We found the Ramada to be quiet, clean, with very helpful staff. Nice pool area. Restaurant was good. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was perfectly located to all areas of San Diego. We also did the Trolley tour which was a great way to see many areas of San Diego and picked us up in front of our hotel.

I was skeptical due to other customer ratings, but was pleasantly surprised with the excellent and accomodating service. I switched from the first assigned room to another due to a problem, but was taken care of promptly and with a smile. The staff was excellent, the new room was clean and comfortable, the complimentary coffee was fresh, and the shuttle service worked great for our needs. Breakfast at the restaurant was good with great service. The hotel was a excellent bargain.

We had an enjoyable stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, with reasonable rates. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area to give directions and attractions/restaurant suggestions to us. Great coffee was available in the lobby at all times!

“great location”

very clean hotel.there were two buildings. the main building with the reception area.we stayed in the second building further away from the highway (I-8). it was very quiet.centrally located to all the attractions in san diego.we will stay here again on our next visit.

“Excellent Hotel”

I enjoyed my stay. I was not in my room a whole lot, but the linens were clean and there were clean towels brought in daily.
