“Budget minded tavelers”

The hotel is close to freeway and across from the Home Depot. I asked for a room away from the freeway and it was given. Front Desk staff was great-exceeded my expectations. She brought us extra towels- WoW! usually have to call and ask most hotels. Shalso called after check-in to make sure everything in our room was ok. impressed we were. For the price3 we paid it was a great place!

Hotel was old, dirty, and uncomfortable but maybe THAT"S WHY it was least expensive in area.

“Everything you need centrally located at an economical price.”

Neat, clean rooms with everything you need at a reasonable price. Nice light breakfast with do-it-yourself waffles and fresh fruit. Clean swimming pool, in-room microwave & refrigerator, cable TV, and ice machine. Free wi-fi internet access. Park close to your room. Shopping and restaurants of all types within 1 mile. Friendly staff. Some freeway noise. Roadway access is a little awkward, but not bad. Good basic lodging with just the right amout of frills for those traveling on a budget.

“Great hotel, would stay there again”

The hotel is right off the freeway, very close to all kinds of shops & restaraunts. The room was big & clean with an air conditioner (great for "white noise"), safe, microwave, refridgerator & coffee pot. The shower was wonderful, great water pressure! There was breakfast everyday consisting of cereal (adult & kids), waffles, pastries, toast, muffins, fruit, juices & coffee. The staff was very helpful & friendly, our room was cleaned every day and the bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels. My family and I have no complaints about our stay at all. Next time we visit Legoland & Sea World this is where we will stay! The hotel is about 20 minutes away from Legoland & 1hr from Sea World. The neighborhood is fine, we walked across the street to home depot & McDonalds one night and felt perfectly safe. There was always plenty of parking & there is a computer to use in the lobby. Great hotel, great price, we will stay there again!

“Affordable and modest temporary lodging especially for CSUSM students”

The hotel isnt fancy in any way but given the rate, one should not expect bells and whistles. Its located very close to the freeway and some convenience shopping areas. It is especially good value and convenient for potential CalState San Marcos students as it is very close to the campus and the hotel provides special student rates too. Staff was friendly.

“Stay Away! Yuck!”

This place scared me. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, just a place to sleep in-between Legoland and the Wild Animal Park. What I got was a place filled with questionable people and rooms that smelled like smoke. I'm not being sarcastic when I say that everything in my luggage smelled like smoke and had to be washed twice! Our reservation was for 4 people (2 adults+2kids), and they gave us a room with one bed, which I demanded they changed. The woman at the front desk had a horrible attitude about this, and was not an easy person to deal with. When we checked in the room was without water for over an hour and the power had gone out at some point and all of the gadgets in the room had to be reset. When the water did turn back on it ran dirty for an excessively long period. I had to wash my feet several times because the carpeting was so dirty and sticky! The only decent thing about this place was the waffle machine they have available for their breakfast. Not only would I not recommend, but I will personally go out of my way to tell people to stay away from this dump!

Accommodations average - staff polite and helpful served the purpose of our stay - would probably look to stay a little closer to San Diego beaches

“Decent hotel for price”

We used this hotel to go to both the safari park and San Diego zoo, wasn't bad for the price we paid, I would stay again.
