“Dog friendly”

The hotel was in a perfect location. The breakfast they serve was good and the employees were very polite and helpful. I really liked the the hotel was dog friendly yet it did not smell and was not dirty

“We'd definitely stay here again”

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and we didn't have any problems with traffic noise like others report in their reviews. It is easy to get to, right off of the freeway. There is a McDonalds right across the street if you like McDonalds.

“Great hotel to take a pet ! Polite staff, cheap and comfortable.”

This was not a leisure trip. We were here to see a hospitalized family member. We spent 3 nights here and have no complaints. One draw for us is they take pets. We have a puppy that couldn't be left back home. If you have to bring a pet, bring a crate and a pet carrier. We paid an affordable deposit. All they ask is if you leave during the day, take your pet or place it in a pet crate. The staff was very polite, the breakfast was great, and the location was within short distance of restaurants and shopping. Everything in the room worked and it was very clean. We will come back again.

“Good clean place”

I made this reservationon through expedia, I didn't know what to expect. It was located next to freeway 78. The room was clean and nice. The staff was very helpful especially Jon. The room felt kind of small becuase all the stuff, ironing board, safe, microwave, refridge, coffe pot and the big tv stand. If the room was bigger it would have been fine. If you're looking for a inexpensive hotel and has several resturants close by, then this is the place.

Clean room, quick service. About 32 miles from downtown San Diego, not a bad drive. They do not tell you that the hotel is located right off of the I78...not that noisy at night though.

“Wow!”

Booked room with 2 Queen bed. We've previously has stayed in San Diego area with similar rates but the experience has been so-so. Despite old exterior, the hotel is well maintained inside. Room is clean with plenty of amneties including microwave and fridge for family of 4. Pleasant experience I must say. Being 8 miles from Legoland with pleasant drive from / to has put this hotel at strategic location, we basically escaped from hurry-up San Diego drivers. Will go there again - Stingray

Everything you expect in a basic hotel room. Clean, quiet, WiFi, great continental breakfast! Great alternative for Pala Casino visitors who don't want to pay the high rates of the casino hotel. 15-20 minutes from Casino.
