“Wonderful”
My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday weekend in SD. It was so worth the price. The best deal ever. They even called the room after we checked in to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything. The breakfast was awesome. waffles, cereal, mini bagels and muffins, juice, coffee. they also had a fridge and microwave in the room so we got some stuff to make and saved a bit of money. I would recomend this hotel and would for sure stay there again.
“Great place”
great place, staff wonderful, clean rooms, close to nice places to see.
“Ramada Limited San Diego Airport”
Small room with a King Bed, but the other features (refrigerator, microwave, cable TV, free Wi-FI, fitness center, free breakfast, etc.) were great. I would stay there again.
“Very pleased....would stay again”
The room was clean and we felt comfortable. Yes, it was an older hotel. And yes there was a musty smell in the hallway, but that had more to do with the location a block from the hotel. The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. The room was on the small side, but plenty of room...about the size of a matter bedroom suite in an apartment. We had a room on the 3rd floor facing the harbor. We could see the city, Coronado bridge, and could watch the boats, including military, enter and exit the harbor.
“Great location”
Not your typical Ramada, but the hotel provided all comforts we were interested in. Location is midway to SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo. Free parking with lots of available stalls. This was our second stay.
“Convenient”
A great place to stay for those who are going to be going on a fishing trip from Point Loma.
“An okay hotel”
We booked a king size bedroom. The room was pretty small. From looking at the bathroom, you can tell they try to do their best at making a small effort at making it look a little nicer. The breakfast was very limited (pastries, mini bagels & cream cheese, cereal, MAKE YOUR OWN WAFFLE MACHINE!) but I really enjoyed the waffles. The batter was very yummy, the waffle alone made me look forward to breakfast next morning and made the stay more pleasant. The guy at the check in counter didn't seem to really understand much of what I was saying so I gave up trying. I can't say much for room service since we never left early enough for it, but when I asked the lady for extra towels and soap and shampoo, they didn't know what I was asking for and I had to individually point multiple times for it (shouldn't they know the procedure by now?). The lady in the morning however was very nice when I asked her to check the lost and found for me and really seem to care. The place is an okay place to stay if you're on a budget. The room was clean and didn't have any major problems except for the fact that the AC was loud. Free internet in the room was a plus and there are a good amount of outlets and the safe box in your room is a nice touch. Would recommend if on a low budget. Close to many things. Not much of a view though.
“Fine if your priority isn't spending money on a place to sleep.”
This hotel is conventiently located next to Shelter Island and lots of beach access. We were there on business in the area and were happy to discover that we were able to walk to many of the places we needed to go. This is not a "destination hotel". The hotel is old and not fancy at all. However, it was clean, comfortable, and quiet. If you want to have a place to stay that leaves you plenty of money to enjoy your day and don't care about extras, then this is a good place to consider.
“Hotel Ramada à San Diego”
Personnel très serviable, le petit déjeuner est très correcte l'hôtel est proche de l'aéroport mais aussi du port ce qui permet de se promener le soir, le quartier est tranquille.
“Different, but I'd stay there again”
The personal service makes this hotel so different. The owner is making obvious attempts to upgade ie granite in the bath and counters. It still remains an older 60s type building. Rooms are small - but, all I needed was a place to sleep and catch the plane again.
