“Great overnighter!”
My husband and I don't have many of the same days off, so once in awhile when we can, we hop on our motorcycles and plan a trip. My husband picked Encinitas because we only had one day and night. This hotel was just what we look for. It is near everything, has great food and shopping within walking distance. I hate to get back on the bikes once I get somewhere, so I want everything to be local. The hotel was clean, the office was very friendly and accomendating, the bed was comfortable, and the continental breakfast had variety. We were lucky to get a room with a jucuzzi bath for my sore muscles! We would definetly come back here again.
“Much improved”
I visited this hotel a few years ago when not under the Quality Inn name. It is very much improved. Great Staff and only four blocks from the beach.
“Nice little hotel”
I liked that the hotel was near the beach. The room I had was away from the highway and very quiet. It wasn't too crowded, which I also liked. The people working there were always friendly and quick to handle problems.
“Great location, great price”
The hotel staff are very friendly and eager to please, and accomodating. This is an older hotel but the management has refurbished the bathrooms, painted the walls, and has invested in extremely comfortable beds and bedding. The walls of the hotel, however, are very thin - fortunately most people use it as an overnight stop during long driving trips so it was fairly quiet. This hotel is just blocks from the beach and within walking distance of some great restaurants and the main part of the town. They serve a free continental breakfast in the morning that is quite varied and generous. This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but we felt it was very fairly priced.
“I liked the convenient location”
The hotel is fairly quiet considering that it is located right on the coast highway. The staggered levels of the rooms also cuts down on noise. The only flaw is that the parking garage is very tight for large size vehicles. The short walk to the beach through the residential neighborhood is enjoyable.
“Good Value”
We selected the place based primarily on price. The hotel easily met the minimum requirements for what we were paying, namely it was clean and everything worked. The staff was nice and the place was conveniently located, within walking distance of the beach and downtown.
“Very quiet stay near the beach.”
The staff were friendly and very quick in responding to needs. Near the beach which was very enjoyable, and would love to stay there again when in town.
“close to beach and downtown encinitas”
The room was clean and even had a microwave and fridge. we did change rooms because the location of the first one was right by the jacuzzi--but the staff was very accomodating. Walking distance to the beach (4 minutes) and to downtown Encinitas (7 minutes). Decent continental breakfast in the lobby and the coffee was even good. Great for the price and location.
“Quality Inn”
When we arrived we were disappointing to see a dirty wet towel in our sink. Overall though if you are just looking to surf and sleep this will do. The bed was comfy and the sheets and blankets were nice. The people down the hall kept coming and going and you could hear there door every time in opened and shut. Overall though it did its job.
“Not bad for what you pay”
Not the cleanest or nicest hotel, but not bad for what we payed and it was very close to the beach! Parking is also atrocious. Leave the SUV at home. It won't fit.
