“Very impressed”

First time traveler to this hotel, however we were impressed. The free breakfast was so much better than any breakfast we have ever received. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, smothered potatoes and toast, cooked to order. Wonderful. The bed was also very comfortable - pillow top, great nights sleep.

“Great place to stay”

Was not sure where the hotel was located in realtionship to what we wanted to do but it ended up being ideal..4 Blocks from the waterfront and the trolley station,1 block from the best from the best Italian food around(Filippi's) and the hotel shuttle was the best deal yet..We used them to go to the Zoo, Cruise terminal, airport. The staff was very accomidating at all times, they even found us discounted admissions to attractions..The restuarant was a bit pricey so I would suggest walking 1 block and eating at any of the many Italian restuarants. Great experience, would stay there again.....

“Welcoming and relaxing.”

Great place. Beautiful. Wonderful staff. (Especially the house maids.) Responsive to needs. Only complaint: chairs in our room -- completely unable to relax; cushions slid off if you leaned back. Sounds minor, but irritating in a place designed for relaxation. Time share folks only a little obnoxious--better than elsewhere in Cabo.

“Hip location, great value, my new place to stay in SD”

Nice hotel with an ideal location and great value. It's quite pleasant and the other guests all seemed normal and cool. This hotel is just minutes from the airport and easy walking distance to the harbor and situated in the happenin' Little Italy neighborhood, full of great restaurants (Landini's, one of the best pizza joints in the city is one block away!). The onsite restaurant is a nice place to have a glass of wine and low key dinner. On Saturday, you're a block away from the Farmer's Market. There's a reasonably priced hair salon at street level, great place to get a blowout or facial -- why not since the rooms here are such a deal? :-) I almost hesitate to write this review since I visit my daughter in San Diego several times a year and am afraid the secret will get out about what a great value this place is. There were some negative comments posted of the hotel but I think those were out of line or maybe even posted by competitors. The negative reviews were not my experience at all and I travel a lot and can be pretty picky.
