“Great escape from the cold for these Coloradans!”

Hotel is in a great location, it was clean and the staff was very friendly. They always recognized me and called me by name. We upgraded to a ocean view room and it was fabulous. We have stayed at many hotels in the San Diego area, and this one was by far the best.

“Spring San Diego weekend”

This is a truly special hotel in a fantastic location. A room on the 2nd or 3rd floor facing the Pacific is well worth the rate. The lenai is large and great for watching the surfers, sea and beach scene. 1st floor rooms have pleasant pool side views. All staff were attentive and friendly, and not intrusive. The room was clean, however a bit dusty in corners. The housekeeping staff were friendly and seem to care about doing a good job, but they may need more supervision to get it perfect. The "towel animals" are an upscale touch. This hotel does not have a restaurant (only a breakfast room), but this was not a problem for us with all the local dining options in the San Diego area. We loved our stay!

My wife and I had a great time; we enjoyed the fresh fruit for breakfast, the always friendly staff, and the wine hour to help relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

Excellent location on the beach. Property is attractive and well-maintained. Bathrooms are plush.

Absolutely loved the hotel. Our room view was amazing (had a premium ocean room). They have a wine hour at 4pm everyday where they give out glasses of wine. We spent everyday at the beach then back at the pool at 4pm. My friend had a great massage also. It was fabulous and I highly recommend it. The staff was SO friendly and there was a wide variety of things given at breakfast.

“Gem of a hotel”

An absolute diamond of a hotel - strongly recommended. They have got service down to an art. Continental self-service breakfast included.
