“A gem in escondido -”

A wonderful very clean very inexpensive hotel . Lovely friendly owners who are very accommodating . The room was newly renovated with all amenities , even a microwave .

“A great place to stay”

The Motel Mediteran was relatively inexpensive when compared to similar properties, so I booked it mainly for the price, since it was a last minute trip decision. I was expecting something kind of run down due to the price, but i was pleasantly surprised! The motel was clean, comfortable, and the rooms had recently been redone. It was really nice! The pool was clean and well maintained, the breakfast was decent, the staff was very helpful in finding local establishments. It was reasonably close to many local beaches and eateries. Also there was lemon and lime trees outside our room. AWESOME! All in all, my husband and I had a great trip, and would absolutely stay there again.

“Pleasantly surprised.”

This hotel is just off Centre City Parkway in Escondido. The hotel has gone through many upgrades since I had last been there many years ago. The rooms and the grounds were well maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to use this hotel whenever we are in the area.

“Great for short stand in Escondido”

We were pleased with the accommodations - nothing fancy. Didn't have a coffeemaker in room; however, coffee was available in the office lobby. Nice continental breakfast. We would stay there again.

Will be back again and again. Place looks great and the suites are awesome with their relaxing jacuzzi tubs.....

“The BEST motel in California!”

I slept in several motels in California during my 2 weeks journey and this one was THE BEST. Room was very clean and nice. Internet was really high speed, people were friendly and the breakfast! Breakfast was great. You can take eggs, gofers, toasts, and muffins, whatever you want. I really recommend this motel to all!!! It is sad that I could stay there only one night because of already booked flight.

“Best Trip Ever”

We had a great time. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good and available from 7am to 9am. Very close to the San Diego Safari Park. Iceoplex ice skating was also close by in Escondido. Would stay again when we come back to the San Diego area.

Very nice room with a king size bed... Very clean and comfortable... The complimentary continental breakfast was adequate with a good selection... Free WiFi worked well with a good signal... The bathroom was clean but the vanity was a little small for a couple's toiletries but we made due... The grounds were very well maintained... I would stay again.

“Really impressed!”

Traveled with family, 5 adults and a 5y.o. and we booked 3 rooms... two few regular and a suite. All where excellent and much better than expected especially for the price. Place looks like it was recently updated. Location is good. Stores are just a few blocks away and there was a Trader Joe's. I would come again in a heart bit and would recommend the place 200%.
