“Overnight Weekend Stay”

We got a great rate through Expedia for this hotel/resort. The nightly rate was way below other hotels in the ritzy Rancho Santa Fe area also advertised through Expedia. Upon check-in, without asking, we were upgraded from a standard room to a "deluxe" room with a fireplace, wetbar, etc. The king bed was very comfortable and the down comforter was very cozy and warm. The practice putting green was also right outside our building. Food at the bar/grill was great also. There is a Starbucks expresso bar in the hotel lobby with sofas and chairs that you can lounge on in front of the fireplace while enjoying your morning coffee. All of the hotel staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

“Beautiful scenery”

What a beautiful setting. The room was spacious and had a refrigerator and fireplace. The bathroom was very clean and the bed was wonderful.

“A nice stay”

Though our room was not yet refurbished it was quite comfortable and pleasant. Work is being done on the grounds but we were in no way inconvenienced.

“We would go back”

This is an older hotel, and a little off the beaten path, but very nicely kept up, quiet, nice restaurant, and right on a golf course. We did not have a golf course view...that would have made it even better. We could not beat the quality of this stay, for the price, anywhere else in San Diego.

“Will be a repeat visitor”

Great fracillity, even without a pool (under reconstruction). Unfortunately had rowdy neighbors second night, which was not handled well by resort. Resort did, however, nicely comp for the inconvenience.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

I booked our room at the last minute during high season in San Diego. Few places in this price range were as nice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, as well as country club members we met at the pool. Morgan Run is in the beautiful city of Rancho Santa Fe. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting. If you don't mind an older hotel with a more conservative ambience (i.e. dress code for the dining room), then you'll love it. It's appropriate but not stuffy.

“Excellent Golf Resort”

The hotel was nicely furnished and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The view looking out over the golf course during breakfast was a gret way to start the day! It made you feel like one of the "jet set" staying there. Definitely a place to stay if you love to play golf.

This hotel is luxurious as well as family oriented. The staff were wonderful. And I highly recommend the onsite masseuse!!!

We had a very pleasant experience here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rates were a bargain for this area (Rancho Santa Fe). Quiet, scenic location. Room was clean and comfortable (although furniture needs updating, rug worn, and pool not available until Oct/Nov.)Overall, We definitely would come back for another stay.
