Located in a great place. Easy access to the highway and all major attractions in San Diego. Rooms were clean and kept clean for the length of our stay (5 days).

“Would definitely go back”

Hotel was clean, personnel were friendly and helpful at all times. The convenience store is great for forgotten items, snacks , etc. The attached restuarant has reasonable prices and great speacials every day. The trolley stops out front for easy access to "Old Town" and the tour of San Diego and Coronada Island. Prices were reasonable and they have free parking (which I thought all hotels provided) but not in San Diego. There is also a bus stop near.

Great place. Nice rooms. Convenience store and nice bar on the property. Kids loved the pool. Would definitely return to this hotel.

“Can't wait to go back”

I loved the clean room and tidy hotel grounds especially since the price was so reasonable. The pool was clean and beautiful. I was impressed with the quality of service and nice rooms. The bathroom, carpet and linen were very clean. The rooms are in good condition and seem to have been recently remodeled and painted.

“Good choice for a budget vacation”

Overall, I had a good experience at Mission Valley Resort. The location was very good you don't necessarily have to have a car to commute to and from there. The restaurant food was very good. The service was pretty smooth too, I was able to get all the needed information and get done what I wanted. They have a convenience store and laundry if you need to do that (I've never thought that hotels had that. This was very helpful).

“Comfortable with lots of advantages”

The resort has a 24 hour family restaurant, and convienent store open until midnight, a sports bar and other amenities. I was able to get a great massage there. The resort in general has a homey and friendly quality, not fancy - very relaxed. Great for families but also adults. The front desk staff is extremly helpful and informative. If you have a question about San Diego, they know the answer. If you have a problem concerning your room or would like to make a change to your stay- they will work with you. There is a computer in the lobby where you can check your email or buy e-tickets to attractions, such as SeaWorld. It is conviently located to all the main attractions and there is a great shopping mall just 2 mins away! When I stay in San Diego this will be my hotel. I highly recommend it.

“Very Satisfied, nice placd to stay”

We stayed here for one night after a Sea World Visit, with our 7 year old son - It's an older hotel, but our room wasn't ragged at all - Building 5 is farthest from the Highway, so we had a quiet night, the beds were comfortable, check-in was quick, the wireless Internet worked perfectly, the food was good in the restaurant (mashed potatoes, yum), the pool & jacuzzi were perfect, my son had a great time, it was NO stress for us parents, so Yes, I'd stay here again anytime -

“Very Satisfied with my stay”

After reading other coments regarding this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised and it is the most attractive property on the hotel circle. I took the hotels complim. shuttle to OLD TOWN SD and called toll free to be picked up and the driver was there within 5 minutes! The bathroom towels wr thick, unlike what I read elsewhere here. The staff is very friendly and they go out there way to serve you and make you feel welcome.

The rooms are always very clean. Staff are very, very nice and helpful. My first stay, my husband and I left our extension cords to phone and computers. We alerted the staff and they mailed them within 1 day. EXCELLENT SERVICE. We will always go back. PS; the location and outside exterior is fantasic too

“Great Opcion for San Diego Travel!”

The staff here are great and extremely friendy, rooms are very nice and comfortable. They have a computer for use in the lobby 24 hours which is great and they never charged me for the copies and maps we printed. The FAMILY restaurant on property has pretty good food, and the service was the best we had experienced in the whole 2 weeks in Southern California (we were traveling with 4 children). We returned twice so far to this hotel and highly recommend it! The ONLY thing that needs improvement would be in room or wireless internet connection (free of charge of course).
