“Great for families, lovers and business travelers.”
We would definitely stay here again. The hotle is set a ways down the beach in Coronado but only a 5 minute trip into town - very relaxing. The entire hotel staff was genuinely nice, extremely accomodating and appeared to really like working there. I told front desk everybody comments on the charge for parking and was told it is a third party who operates the parking garage so the cost is passed on.
“can't wait to go back”

“Very impressed.”

“"A great weekend"”
We stayed for 3 nights at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort and Spa. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We were travelling with an infant and had called a day earlier to confirm our reservation and inform the hotel that we would be travelling with our infant son. They ensured that when we checked into our room, a crib (with little airplanes on the sheets and bumpers ...nice) was kept ready for our son. The room was excellent and had a really nice view of the bay. The amenities included a nice flat screen TV, Keurig coffee maker with gourmet coffee, a really well stocked fridge (charges apply) and a well appointed bath room with separate glass shower and a nice soaking tub. The bed was super comfy. We didn’t eat much at the hotel but noticed that you could eat on a patio that had incredible views of downtown San Diego and the bay. There is a parking fee of $22 per night for self parking which is kind of steep but what is cool is that the hotel is divided into wings and there is a huge underground parking structure that allows you to access each wing. So you can drive up underneath your wing, park and take the elevator straight to the floor where you are staying. So from the car to your room is literally just a few mins. Loews also has a private pathway to the beach (it’s a 1/4 mile walk to the beach ). We had a really nice relaxing weekend and will definitely stay at Loews again if we are in the San Diego area.
“Sigh of Relief”
I had just drove two days through Mexico. I arrived at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort & Spa, completely exhausted on January 12th. I had left Mexico early in case it took hours to pass through immigrations. Therefore, I was early arriving to checkin. Front desk was immediately responsive to my needs and checked me in right away without hesitation. The hotel atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. It is secluded--but not too far away--from the center of Coronado. There is a beach a very short walking distance. Several options as far as activities and spa treatments. I was very satisfied and well rested when I left. I would definitely recommend Loews to every traveler.
“Peaceful easy feeling”
Very nice place to vacation. Loved the layout of the buildings and underground parking. Nice room with great view, helpful staff. Trees, plants etc. on Hotel property were very well taken care of. Pool area ; excellant. Good access to Hotel from Coronado. We rented a car at the airport and loved day trips for ten days from Loews. Carlsbad, La Jolla, San Ysidro, Ocean Beach, and for the ladies, SHOPPING. Glorious shopping at the outlet malls. Must see: Embarcadero, Balboa Park, Zoo, Coronado, Point Loma, La Jolla, and of course a Padres game at Petco Park.
“Third visit, and looking forward to the fourth”
This is my third summer staying at Loews Coronado, and I am looking forward to the fourth visit. The facilities are wonderful, but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is even better. A great place to just get away, and be.
“Awesome Resort!”
Stayed at Loews Coronado in April - we are a family of four. The hotel was exquisite! Would absolutely return. The service was unbelievable! The resort is a slight distance from the center of town, but not a big deal. Some folks rented bikes and rode into town. If visiting San Diego frequently, keep in mind that it's about a 10 minute drive. The cool thing is you feel like you're "away" when you enter the resort so it's worth the drive. Loved, loved, loved this hotel. Food was very good - although a little expensive. The kids meals were reasonable, especially the kids buffet.
“Good weekend get-a-way hotel”
Good choice for the weekend to get a way from it all. Spend 3 nighhts 4 days and never need to get out of the hotel. Good swiming pools, good food, very kids freindly and probably one of the best kinds menue we have seen. Complementary transportation on the hotel bus to and from the Coronado village is a plus for those wanting to get out of the hotel.
“Loved it”
We thought it was nice. We loved that it wasn't close to the airforce base, like the other coronado resorts are! Overall we had a amazing stay! Would stay agian!
