“Great Views”

Beautiful hotel!! Rooms are small but nice and the "partial ocean view" room had a great view. Service was excellent. Had the valet get something out of my car and bring it up to me, which was there idea, I was going to get it myself! Only downside is high charge for valet, but that goes with the territory.

“wonderful historical hotel”

Loved the Valencia--its history gave it lots of character but all the amenities were modern. The staff was friendly and helpful and the views of the Pacific were spectacular. The bed was really comfortable as well! We definitely will return.

“Get away to La Valencia”

Great place for quiet relaxation. Ocean breeze, great weather was the perfect place to get away for a long weekend. Fantasitic staff from check-in to the elevator operator. Hotel cleanliness was amazingly noticeable everywhere you looked.

Old but very nice. Small rooms. Tiny bathroom. No self parking. Excellent restaurant but expensive. Very friendly staff. Perfect location: walk to the shore, Starbuck's next door. Loved the place.

“Definately going back”

We had a full ocean view room. The view was gorgeous. The Bed...Ahhhh is all I can say. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. My husband and I stayed for our 25 Anniversary, we stayed for 4 days. We can't wait to go back. The hotel is exactly what we were looking for. It is an older hotel, very elegant, old Hollywood style. The room wasnt very large but what it lacked in size the comfort made up for it. Very convenient to shops, restaurants and attractions. We hardly had to drive anywhere. Which was a plus because both my hubby and I lost weight from the walks we took. And we ate like kings. We can't wait to go back again, and I have already recommended La Valencia to my co-workers. It was beautiful.
