“Best Hotel In OceanSide”

Rooms and people where awesome full breakfast. Very friendly and Happy atemsophere.

“slctraveler”

Overall, it was a good stay. There were some minor issues, but stay was good for the money. The good: Rooms pretty decent. Breakfast was pretty good. Hotel staff nice. Good location close to the beach. Not as good: no place to get change for the laundry machines or vending machines. Need a change machine badly. We had an older tv in our room and it would turn on in the middle of the night constantly by itself. Was kind of annoying. Also the carpets in the rooms and halls need to be cleaned badly.... But overall I would reccommend for the money...

Any part of Oceanside is really pretty decent. Neighborhoods here are pretty safe looking.

“La Quinta Oceanside”

Very nice hotel! Doesn't look like much from the outside, definitely better than anticipated! Was very clean smelling, not stale like a majority of chain hotels. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! Friendly staff also. My only discontent was that I was below some very noisy guests, sounded like a herd of elephants! But that could happen anywhere! All in all, I do highly recommend this hotel! Right off the freeway, yet I did not notice the noise.

“Good hotel, bad location?”

Room was excellent & the breakfast adequate. Some wierd smell in the walkways, but not too strong. The neighborhood looked pretty scary though. Wouldnt stay again.

“Very impressed.”

I'm not much on writing, but I know quality when I see it. La Quinta Inn San Diego is on my list of quality stays.

Other
Located almost outside the gates of Camp Pendleton, it is a perfect stay to visit friends or family stationed there.

“Okay because it is new”

This very new LaQuinta is located right next to a strip club in Oceanside, CA. This may be a selling point to some people but it made me uncomfortable. The facility is brand new so it was clean and well-maintained. I would not expect that to be the case in a couple of years. The under window wall-mounted HVAC blew the curtain full of AC and left the room with little benefit - of course this is only an issue if you close the curtain. The reason we stayed there is because of its proximity to Camp Pendleton as we were visiting our daughter there - in this regard, it was ideal.

“Will stay here again”

Easy, quick check in. Rooms are always clean. Hotel is reasonably quiet so you can get a sound sleep. Staff are friendly and helpful. A pleasurable stay.

Area recommendations
Any of the coastal beach cities. Just drive south on the street the hotel is located on and you will find great places to eat, drink and walk. Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas.
