“Will stay there again”
Clean and neat. Hot coffee and more in the morning. Near freeway and walk to the Ocean. Will stay there again, when I am in the area.
“Excellent, recommended for all.”
Before booking this hotel, I read the review on this website. One said that there was too much noise because of the highway. I was afraid if I was going to experience the same, but surprisingly after getting the room closest to the highway, I and my family slept well without any traffic noise. I really liked this hotel at the rate that I got. Breakfast was free, which meant I dont have to worry about food for the children before going to the amusement parks nearby. The only issue (minor) was not enough seating/tables in the breakfast area. Highly recommended hotel. Would definitely stay again if I get a chance.
“Great Hotel”
It is a great hotel for the price. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds, the complementary breakfast is very good (does not have eggs or sausage, but it is has waffles, cereal, bagels, cupcakes, muffins, bread, cream cheese, orange juice, coffee). This is a pet friendly hotel; pets under 25 lbs can stay for free. The only issue that I found was the proximity to highway 5, when you are outside you will hear some highway traffic noisy; however when you are in the room (far from the highway) you did not hear any noise. Be sure that you get a room far from the highway..

“La Quinta Inn San Diego”
It was a great hotel for the price. Just a walk away from the ocean and many restaurants nearby!
“Almost 5-star experience.”
We were satisfied and happy with La Quuinta and this would be our choice should we go back to Carlsbad. The room was comfortable with the exception of the carpet. We rated "ok" for the cleaniness due to the dirty carpet. Within half an hour walking in the room, our feet, especially the little ones were all black! Not gray, not dusty white, but black. We solved the problem by wearing our beach sandals in the room, not a big deal given how other aspects had compromised the blakish feet. The breakfast was splendid, we were offered pastry, toast, bagels, 4 waffle machines, fruits, boiled eggs, cereal and milk. Since we were there on the summer vacation, the b'fast line was quite long and all the tables were quickly filled up. It was a 5-7 mins drive to the beach and a couple blocks away from Ralph's (get your sandwich here for lunch at Legoland, to avoid the long line and overpriced food inside the park!) with numerous restaurants in the same shopping complex. I wished they installed more computers in the lobby or a time-limit policy for the internet access, since one person could just sit there for hours! Overall, it'd have been a 5-star experience if not of the dirty room carpet.

Perfect place to stay if you're going to Legoland. There's a shopping center right around the corner. Beautiful quiet street. The room was great!
“Very pleased Nice, clean place to stay”
We enjoyed the stay. Clean, quite, breakfast included! We Chose La Quinta Inn San Diego-Carlsbad for location (close to legoland). We arrived early and they provided us with an early check in. Staff was polite and accommodating. We didn't have to leave our luggage in the car. I would recommend for others and would stay there again.
“Great Place to Lay your head”
The Hotel is clean, tidy and comfortable. The Breakfast is simple but enough to get you started. This is the second time I have stayed here, and will do so the next time I visit the area. I did not notice the road noise.
“I love you guys!!”
I came in too early to check in and I was having a really bad morning! The man at the front desk (he was training another young man) was so sweet he said he would look to see if he could get me a room as soon as possible! Everything worked out and I was in my room in the next ten minutes!! They also helped me when I called about 5 different times because I was lost in San Diego. They were so kind and helped me out A LOT!! Thank you so much to the guys at the hotel!!
