“Room description of "room with ocean view"”

It was a nice yet small room. The ocean view description for the room I found misleading. We expected more of a view from the room, not a small partial view from the deck.

“Good hotel”

Good room was cozy. And hotel and service was great.

“Great Location”

We paid extra for the balcony so we could see the cove. It was worth it. Location is unbeatable but be prepared for noise from the busy town and street. Staff was nice. Watch out for the sneaky "energy surcharge" which is unpublished and curious since they are neither heating nor cooling! It is time to replace the worn out bathroom towels but I would still stay there again.

An exceptonal La Jolla location! Rooms are quite small - but perfect for 2. Great roof top terrace. Warm muffins delivered to your room for breakfast - yum!

A block to the ocean, convenient to bus stops. For our purposes, it was very satisfactory. Nice to have the breakfast available. Beautiful ocean area.

“Can't Beat the Location”

You absolutely cannot beat the location of this hotel! It's right in the center of La Jolla Village - you can walk everywhere - to the beach, bike path, restaurants, shopping, ect. It is definitely not the fanciest place in town, and has a very European feel to it. (No amenities, small rooms, queen sized beds)We hardly spent anytime in the room, so this served us just fine! One thing I will recommend is paying extra for an upgraded room. There is a huge difference in the ocean facing rooms. The views are amazing and you have a nice balcony. The staff was very helpful in accomodating us. Parking is off site, but totally worth it. It's a short walk and saves the hassle of driving around looking for a spot and it's cheap!

“La Jolla Inn”

Good location, nice breakfast, peaceful. The room is not large, but enough.

it's especially wonderful that they provide "free" parking in the center of La Jolla. Only about 2 blocks away, a nice walk.
