We experienced a relaxing stay and to our added delight it had been recently renovated. It's gorgeous and the attention to detail is everywhere you turn. Also, the staff are always pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed every minute.

Loved this hotel. We always stay in Laguna Beach, but this is our new favorite. We could walk to all the great restaurants and shopping. Great town.....loved it.

The rooms are incredibly comfy and the service is impeccable. If you enjoy a relaxing atmosphere in a beautiful setting, look no further! Shopping, restaurants, and the beach are just outside your door. Though every luxury is available, there is no pretention at L'Auberge. The staff treated us like family and were always knowledgable and helpful in directing us to the right place to eat or shop. This was our first visit, but we intend to make it a destination.

“Perfect Mini-Honeymoon”

My new husband and I were looking for somewhere romantic to head off to for the weekend. We live in Vegas so our goal was a small resort by the beach with a romantic beautiful vibe - and we found just that in L'Auberge Del Mar. We had a room on the ground floor that had a beautiful patio w/ a garden that we could see the ocean from. The service was impeccable and the grounds were breathtaking. I work at a 5 diamond resort in Las Vegas so I am a stickler for service and decor - and I can say with all certainty that this resort far exceeded my expectations.

“Great Spot North of San Diego”

I had been looking for an opportunity to stay here with my family (5 & 9 yr olds) for a couple years. Was able to secure a great rate through Expedia for a 5-day stay over spring break. Small, comfortable, friendly, helpful, relaxing place. Reminds us a bit of Pacific Grove and Carmel. The hotel, restaurant, and area amenities are not inexpensive. But if you're looking for a small splurge, it's a very nice place. Small pool that fills up quickly on nice days. Short walk to a great beach filled with surfers and families. Park and playground is great for families with young kids. Good launching spot for Legoland, La Jolla and SD sites, or just hanging out all day by the pool and beach. Wireless internet access everywhere. Yes, yes, there's a daily parking and service fee. And we loved hearing the train go by. To each his own I suppose. Hope to be able to stay there again soon.
