In the heart of quaint Del Mar Village, this coastal resort is a 20-minute drive from downtown San Diego and San Diego International Airport, and nine miles from La Jolla.
L'Auberge Del Mar features award-winning cuisine at KITCHEN 1540, which offers New American cuisine. The resort offers complimentary access to two swimming pools, tennis courts, and a 1500-square-foot fitness center. L'Auberge Del Mar overlooks the Pacific Ocean. A manicured footpath leads to Del Mar Beach where guests can enjoy water sports. Nearby Seagrove Park offers gorgeous views and picnic areas.
L'Auberge Del Mar accommodates groups of up to 300 people in six private event spaces, complete with windows and terraces, and offers gracious outdoor areas with stunning ocean views. All menus can be personally tailored, and feature regional and organic ingredients.

The three-story L'Auberge Del Mar offers 120 nonsmoking guestrooms, accessible by interior corridors and elevators.
Rooms offer seaside cottage decor, including plump cushions in floral fabrics; lemon-and-white-striped curtains; upholstered armchairs. Custom beds include billowy duvets and luxury linens.
Guestrooms offer private patios or balconies with partial views of the village of Del Mar, the Pacific Ocean, or the resort's waterfall terrace and gardens. Amenities include cable TV, pay movies, video games (surcharge), minibars, in-room safes, and coffeemakers. High-speed Internet access is available (included in resort fee). Most rooms have fireplaces. Stylish bathrooms boast marble vanities, chrome fixtures and walk-in showers.

Recreation
L'Auberge Resort and Spa offers complimentary access to its fitness center; outdoor lap pool, leisure pool, and spa tub; and two championship tennis courts. European spa services are also on site.
Del Mar beach, one block away, is accessible via a private path. This resort is four miles from Torrey Pines Golf Course and Torrey Pines Nature Reserve, and five miles from Torrey Pines Gliderport. Hot air balloon rides operate from Del Mar. Bicycle and jogging paths run adjacent to the resort.

“Funtastic”
Great location, great service and a beautiful property. Lots of renovations made this hotel a wonderful place to stay.

“Our new favorite getaway!”
This hotel is the perfect weekend getaway. Small, quaint and in the perfect location. -Located in the heart of Del Mar, you can walk to the beach and some fabulous restaurants. The service was great and I loved having a fireplace in the room. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to be pampered and relax.
“Friendly Service”
The hotel staff is extremely attentive and helpful, the rooms are well appointed, and reasonably roomy. Lovely location near the Del Mar Beach.
“Just north of San Diego a charming hotel & restaurants.”
Rooms face the pool and restaurant while the ocean is visible from almost all rooms. Outdoor gas fireplaces at two bars, cozy cabana seating for small groups outdoors while dining. Across the street is the ocean which is fun to walk & watch surfers & people watching. Town of Del Mar has nice & fun boutique shops. There are many great restaurants in town including a good sushi restaurant & Italian. There's also a beautiful grocery store with all kinds of deli foods you can eat there or carryout. Many tables outdoors. It was a fun & relaxing 4 days. Easy to drive to & easy to drive to other towns nearby. And, they have a good fitness center.
“Fantastic Low Key Getaway”
A relaxing getaway just 1.5 hours from Los Angeles. No car needed. Great location, great hotel. Would go again.
“Very Cozy”
A nice small resort. Extremely friendly. Great fireplace with mellow live entertainment. Awesome setting. Nice fireplace in bar area. Great location although not on the beach. Beach was 200 yards down the street. Super close to great dining. The italian place across the street had commanding views, great food, great service and great prices. We'll be back.
“Loved every minute!”
We took a chance on this hotel based on the Expedia website, and were so pleased with it. The staff was wonderful, the room was beautiful, and they gave us an upgrade as it was our anniversary. We also ate in the restaurant, the food was excellent. Great shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely return!
“Beautiful retreat”
Walking distance to beaches, restaurants and the village. Our room didn't have a view of the ocean or village, but with a nice patio we had plenty of privacy. We will have to go back soon and enjoy the amenities the hotel offers.
