“cheapest to book”

it was cheap so we booked it. we didnt need fancy. we just needed a place to sleep

“it's alright, if you are looking to save money”

the hotel was pretty nice, the only problem was the carpet was not too clean, but as far as everything went, it was pretty good. the refrigerator was great, it kept the drinks nice and cold.

“Good Hotel”

Stayed for a night when the family came in the day before our furniture arrived to move into the new home. It was a good stay and the continental breakfast was good. Not a bad place for a night.

“Good hotel, good deal.”

Rooms are large and very clean. Everything is nice. However, the only thing that takes away is the outward looks. The hotel could use a paint job and looks a little old.

“El Cajon”

Great location , Comfy hotel, pool and hot tub very good room service and tasty breakfast, close to freeways and 20 minutes to san diego airport.

“Better than expected”

When I booked this hotel, I saw a lot of negative comments, but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and comfortable. NO bed bugs, as reported!

The rate was good. The parking area is small.The over all room was clean and comfortable. The shower could use a good cleaning. I would stay there again.

“I should have got there sooner.”

Our room was very neat and clean as was the bathroom. There were no unpleasant odors or noises. Overall it was a very nice stay and I would recommend it to families as well. The moring cup of coffee was great as was the variety of danish. To bad we didn't have time to use the pool or spa. They looked so inviting.

“Very Hard Beds and Paper Thin Pillows”

The hotel and pool were very clean and the rooms are really sound proof. The neighborhood is a little rough but that may be from the car wash/liquor store that is right out in front. Even though the rooms was very clean the main downside were the beds. They were very, very hard and the pillows were almost flat as paper. I guess I expected a little bit more from a Howard Johnson Hotel.

“Decent for the price you pay, being so close to San Diego.”

Nice enough place, pretty quiet but kind of a sketchy neighbourhood. Didn't go in the pool or see anyone in it or cleaning it. Breakfast was ok, nice to have them throw it in but nothing to write home about. Staff was very courteous and friendly. About a half hour drive to San Diego and easy to find. I'd go back, but it's nothing fancy however we didn't spend much time in the room anyways.
