“Just for fun”

If youre going to San Diego and looking to save money, but get a good place to mainly sleep and have a good, free Continental Breakfast, look no further. This was the third hotel Ive stayed at on Hotel Circle, and was probably the best overall room. All the extras in the room made it better than the others, along with what they had to offer for the breakfast. We had no problems that were within the hotels blame, and would definetely go back again when were not planning on finding a place on beachfront land.

“Can't beat the price and comfort of this hotel”

For the cheap price of this place, the level of service exceeded my expectation. It has decent breakfast (bread, cereal, milk, juice, etc), clean comfortable bed, clean and working bathroom, working air conditioner, big fridge, TV, sofa, and even microwave. The room was extremely clean and quite, I was surprised. This is definitely the best place to stay at in San Diego.

“better than we expected YEAH!”

it was so far the best place we have stayed in. The price was great for the summer when prices are usually outragous. The room was clean Bed was not so hard you couldn't move in the morning. The air condition was great no smelly air you get it some places. They have a nice breakfast room with a better choice than others offer. We really enjoyed our stay. It wasn't large but its just the two of us and we were surprized that the lasge size refrig and it also had a microwave. This is a place we will use again.

“Perfect for us!”

This hotel was perfect for what we used it for. We used it to shower and sleep and it did it's job. It was close to everywhere that we needed to go. The breakfast was fresh and the hotel kept replenishing the food and drink without having to ask. This is not a luxurious hotel but it definetly served it's purpose. I never felt unsafe and the parking was plentiful.

“Good for the money”

This hotel was good for the money. Its very easy to get almost anywhere in SD - Hillcrest is especially close. Even though the hotel is right off I-8, the sound from the highway could barely be heard with the door closed. They were nice enough to give us an extra sheet and blanket when requested (one of us was cold and wanted to double-up). The place was very clean. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the towels which were very cheap, small rough towels. Also, don't expect much from the pool - its in the corner of the parking lot like an afterthought.

“Good Value”

It was reasonably priced with clean rooms, and facilities. The staff were friendly. The only thing we suggest to travellers is not to use the internet kiosk. It ate our money, and was a hassle to get a refund through the kiosk company. Breakfast was good, and check out time was great 12:00pm.

“Not bad for the budget”

Let's face it - there are many hotels on "hotel circle" San Diego. So, if you are looking for posh accommodations look elsewhere. But, if economy is your game - you really can't beat it. The room was small but clean. The building is obviously older and stuff isn't brand new - but everything was functional and adequate. The fridge and microwave was handy to have. The breakfast was only juice, coffee, cold cereal, white bread, and misc pastries. It's not a place I'd want to spend a load of time, but for a place to sleep during a weekend vacation it worked great!
