This La Jolla hotel, four blocks from the beach, is five miles from both Torrey Pines Golf Course and Mission Bay. Downtown San Diego is 12 miles away. The hotel is also near popular destinations such as La Jolla Village, the UCSD campus, UTC Mall (shopping center), and La Jolla's Seal Beach. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service within a 5-mile radius.
Hotel La Jolla at the Shores offers an 11th-floor ocean-view restaurant and lounge. All banquettes and tables are placed to maximize the views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Live jazz and big-band performances by prominent local and national artists are scheduled on Friday and Sunday evenings.
Other amenities include an outdoor pool and a fitness center. The hotel also offers 2 conference rooms with audio-visual equipment.

Hotel La Jolla At The Shores offers 108 spacious guestrooms in various configurations. Sliding glass doors with plantation shutters open to furnished balconies with ocean or garden views.

All rooms, which were renovated February 2011, have private bathrooms with shower only. Additional amenities include 42-inch TVs in armoires, complimentary high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, compact refrigerators, and video games.

The Grill at Hotel La Jolla - This exceptionally popular bar and nightclub has long been a gathering spot for San Diegans who come to soak up fabulous views while enjoying live jazz and big-band performances by some of the hottest local and national entertainers. Daily Happy Hour from 4-7 PM. Live performances only on Friday and Sunday evenings.

“Manifique !!”
I loved everything about this hotel, from the entrance to the staff to the room and its amenities to the view from the top floor while dining. While the only thing that would need to be changed would be the existence of a few more ice machines, everything else was superb !!
“Very nice.”
At check in, Joseph (clerk) was very helpful and pleasant. We also needed a taxi to take us to a restaurant in San Diego. He called and got me a price and also arranged the pick up. Worked out great. The room was just as shown/described on the website. Very clean and orderly. We would not hesitate to stay there again on future trips to San Diego area. Within minutes of downtown and many of the area's attractions. Also, a very nice restaurant on top floor. Had breakfast there and it was great with very good service. Very nice, very pleased.
“Great Hotel on a beautiful city.”
I highly recommend this Hotel. Great location, room was very clean, fantastic views. The front desk staff was a bit unwelcoming and $10. parking space for such a big lot is unnecessary. I could understand that if you are in NYC. Other than that we loved and enjoy our weekend getaway.
“Excellent view off the Pacific Ocean from Clays”
From the seventh floor up beautiful views of La Jolla and the Pacific Ocean. The resturant at the top of the Hotel, "Clays," served a incredible meal. Only problem was the early morning traffic, when the windows were open. All in all it our stay was enjoyable.

My wife and I have stayed at La Jolla Shores,once before with are nieces. There was plenty of room for the four of us the girls loved the balcony. Sitting out and enjoying the beautiful views. There is a convience store and subway sandwhich shop and starbucks right next to hotel. And the beach is alovely short walk away. This trip decided we decided to take alone and since we enjoyed are stay so much last time we decided to stay at la jolla shores again. It was a truely relaxing hotel. nice and quiet. We were on the fifth floor and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Over all this is a great hotel.Are only complaint was being charged ten dollars a day for parking when we checked out.

Great hotel with all needed amentities (except a business center for those of us who don't like to travel with a laptop). I especially appreciated the free shuttle service!
“Great stay”
Hotel La Jolla at the Shores is a great place to stay. We had an ocen view room in which the sunsets are amazing. The beach is in walking distance with many great restaurants surrounding.

Fantastic location, even for San Diego. Got us out of the big city, 15 minutes away and could walk to a beautiful beach (one of the prettiest we saw) and 1 mile from Prospect Ave (good food, music and shopping.)Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.Not much for a pool, great bistro on top floor, great rooms and beds.
