“VALET PARKING TO HIGH OTHERWISE PERFECT”
STAFF COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE COURTEOUS OR HELPFUL. WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED HOTEL ALREADY TO FRIENDS. TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING INCLUDING GREAT EATING ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE.

“A beautiful hotel.”
While the Indigo is brand new it fits in perfectly with the neighborhood architecture. The rooms are immaculate with great beds, lots of pillows, flat screen TV, wireless internet (as well as an Ethernet cord in the desk drawer). The shower is a large walk-in with cedar bench, hand-held shower massage, Aveda bath products and big, thick scratchy towels. There's no detail overlooked. One caveat - the west side rooms face the Padre's stadium which, for us, was a bonus, but if there's a game, they're liable to have fireworks. Just a heads-up, in case you wanted to get to sleep early. Also, there's a fire station nearby. It's about 2 blocks from the main Gas Lamp area which is nice since you're not right in the thick of things. Also, by booking through Expedia, I saved over $100. compared to their published rates. Over all a very gratifying stay in a very nice city.
“Hip, well-decorated hotel with great staff”
Rarely does a big city hotel really impress me, but this place is friendly, hip, beautifully designed (boutique hotel touches)--they really aim to please! The 9th floor has a lovely patio/bar overlooking Petco Park and another balcony set up for quiet reading and meditation. We thought it was excellent value for money!

“Pleasantly Surprised”
I booked this hotel at the last minute simply because of the price. I thought it was much further from the San Diego Convention Center than it actually was. We were able to walk there and to local shops and restaurants. The decor was cool. The staff was nice (even when we arrived at 1am!). It was much much better than I was expecting and we'd definitely stay again!

Enjoyed staying at the Indigo. Staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. Everything is new and modern and fun! The level 9 bar is amazing with the glass rock fireplaces and the view. I would definitely go back!
“New Gem Near Gaslamp District”
Located in a partially gentrified area a couple blocks east of the actual Gaslamp section of San Diego, this is a newish hotel with spacious rooms, two great bars and a hipster ambiance. Dog friendly -- even has a "yappy hour!" We found the staff to be uniformly friendly and helpful.
“Fantastic hotel getaway in Gaslamp”
The staff service and quality of the hotel is superior. Hotel is really well situated for both business and leisure travelers, though slightly outside the "mainstream" Gaslamp district. It is a couple walking blocks from Gaslamp in San Diego and one block from Petco Park. To get to and from the convention center I recommend using the trolley (one block from the hotel). The hotel itself is has a terrific social lobby. There are computers and a printer for use in the lobby. Convenient, easy access to the internet. The rooftop lounge is phenomenal. The view of the City and Petco Park amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here for those who don't mind being slightly off the Gaslamp strip. It's enjoyable to stroll to various restaurants and shopping.
