“Labor Day Stay”

This hotel was wonderful! I would definitely stay there again. Our rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a clean and quiet area/easy access to highway.

Great hotel, very friendly staff, will check out other Homewood Suites in future. The rooms are nice, spacious, clean and stocked with the necesary amenities. Free breakfast everyday and free dinner on weeknights, nothing exceptional but filling and made it an easy start to the day. It was very quiet, pool area was small but relaxing outdoor environment. We stayed 3 nights, two adults and one child and we were all happy that we chose this location. We will stay here again on our next visit to San Diego.

“Perfect for our visit”

As a small (three person) family, a suite is ideal for us. Our recent stay for a wedding in San Diego was excellent. The room was spacious and clean, we enjoyed our breakfasts, and we had easy access to the north for the wedding and to the south to the zoo. We never got the hang of the route to I-5, so some signage would be nice, but we had our GPS and the hotel was listed.

“Would return again”

We had a really early flight to catch at 7 am. So we left the hotel at 5 am, and breakfast is served at 7 am on Sundays, so I really didn't expect to eat anything at the hotel, but the front desk offerred me muffins (ready for the Sunday morning breakfast) and hot tea/coffee before we left. So that was really nice gesture, especially since I have two young kids to please. It was unexpected, and I felt taken care of.

“Great Hotel”

We were a group of 5 people and we initially booked 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen bed room but they upgraded us to 2 bedroom suite with one king and 2 queen beds... we loved our room... Excellent customer service!! .. Breakfast was good... Its close to most of the tourist attractions... would recommend it to all..

My husband and I stayed at the San Diego Homewood Suites for 2 nights. It was wonderful. The "FREE" breakfasts every morning was the icing on the cake. We will stay there whenever we visit San Diego.

Situé à un quart d'heure des principaux sites (Sea World, Zoo, centre de San Diego), cet hôtel m'a donné entière satisfaction. Le personnel est dévoué, le petit déjeuner simple mais largement suffisant. L'état de la chambre fût impeccable. Je recommande cet hôtel.

We were not aware that the hotel would furnish breakfast (not just continental, but a full delicious breakfast with different entre's each day), and dinner. When we asked for anything, it was furnished immediately. We became sick on our vacation, and were grateful to have a comfortable, beautiful Hotel that felt like home where we could recover and then go on with our vacation. It was very peaceful and quiet. The front desk people were very courteous, directing us to where we wished to go, and inquired if we were feeling better, the day after we had not felt well.

In short, this hotel was: VERY CLEAN SPACIOUS ROOMS LOT OF PILLOWS! Each be had like 6 pillows on it. That blew me away. GREAT BREAKFAST (my wife won't stay at a hotel unless it has free breakfast included and she was happy) EXCELLENT STAFF (pointed out good places to eat and things to do) Here is a more detailed description of our trip. Took the family to Seaworld and booked a room at the Homewood Suites because of price and proximity to the park (about 15 min.) Seaworold was awesome but unfortunately, our two year old woke up in the middle of the night sick. We need some Children's Tylenol so we went down to the front desk to see where the closest 24 CVS was. DAN at the front desk was VERY HELPFUL and personally walked us across the street to their other property which sold the Children's Tylenol. He even brought over cookies and stickers to help make our little guy feel better. Dan and Homewood Suites made a not so good trip bearable. To sum up, this hotel should really be a 4-star. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I will DEFINITELY stay there again and I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND this property.
