“Comfortable and convenient”

Professional helpful staff; clean room; great location to everything; and superb dining/bars surround the hotel. I'm going back again and again.

“Clean, comfortable room at a great cruiseport location”

The room was clean an comfortable, a bit dated in its decor, but still very nice. It was across the street from the cruise terminal so this made it an extremely convient location for walk-to cruise check in. Restaurants were within easy walking distance ( a well rated seafood place across the street) and the 'Little Italy' section of town about three easy walking blocks away. A privately owned bar/restaurant is in the lobby and is convenient for cocktails and meals, although the meals seemed a bit pricey and licensing requiremenst forbade taking glasses of wine or cocktails up to our room. Check-out was smooth and problem free. If we ever cruise out of San Diego again, we will definitely return to this hotel.

A little pricey, but then again...it was right across from the ocean. very satisfied. would definetely go back.

Location of this hotel it's awesome. It's nice and clean inside. Parking it's little overpriced. Front deck person was nice, swimming pool it's clean and warm. Very cozy and secure hotel. Next year will stay there for sure.

“Central to all sights”

Great location, near Sea Port Village (10 min walk), Amtrack Station (1.5 blocks), & Trolley transportation. We're from So. Cal, about 1.5 hours drive north of San Diego, and decided to try the train for the fun of it. We were going to have to rely on walking and public transportation during our trip, and the hotel's location lent itself to easy access to all the available types of transportation. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and well maintained. The only thing that was disappointing was no tub, with a small child, it made it diffcult come bath time. Other than that, the restroom was very nicely decorated and set up well. The pool was great, even though we caught a bit of overcast weather, the kids still enjoyed the water, not quite sure if it was heated, but it feel luke warm, and able to tolerate it. We would return, no doubt about it!

“Awesome hotel”

I had a great time at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating of our needs. The location is great - next to nearly every hot night spot with great views of the city. I will continue to stay at this hotel each time I come back to San Diego!

“Good position”

The room and service was excellent. The children enjoyed the pool which was heated. Great position for bay cruises and USS Midway. Close dining was alittle limited although the hotel does have a restaurant. Would stay here again.
