“Clean Clean Clean”
From the linens to the towels. Upgraded, clean and nice customer service are the words that come to mind :)
“GOOD HOTEL”
WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF IT PROVIDED CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST
“I highly recommend this hotel”
I would highly recommend this hotel. The hotel staff was very attentive to our needs and the greatest part of our stay was the FREE shuttle service the hotel provided for its guests. Within 3 mile radius, guests can take advantage of the shuttle service. We were taken to and fro different places like Sea World, USS Midway, Little Italy, Seaport Village, etc. at no extra costs. The shuttle service also includes airport transfers.
“Nice Hotel!”
Room was nice and clean...a little small, but it worked. Their food is good, but not special. Pool and gym not very exciting. Parking a little pricey! But it's in the center of downtown San Diego which is really neat.
“NOT HAPPY WITH THIS HOTEL”
Sorry but i'm not happy with this hotel at all. First of all the front desk personnel is not very friendly and seems hurried. The person we ask information to didn't give us proper information at all. I hated the parking at this place. I will never go back to this hotel at all. This hotel is so very easy to miss and by the time you realized it you are back on the freeway making a long turn around. This hotel is not properly situated and on top of the the parking is really bad very cramped and you can't ever get out of the parking lot coz other cars block you.
“Great stay!”
I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn San Diego Downtown. Although a bit off the beaten path, the room was gorgeous and the price was right. We didn't have any issues with the hotel staff and they were always more than happy to help. The Holiday Inn even offered free wi-fi, an ammenity not offered by all hotels in the US. The only sore part was $17/night parking- a bit steep for overnight guests. Only a few dollars in a cab took us to the heart of downtown. About a 25 minute walk from the pier, it was a beautiful stay. Not many restaurants or quick-put stops for food are immediatly nearby, so best to pick something up on the way back to the hotel after a late night. There is a Chevron across the street that is open 24/7 for late night munchies.
“need more information”
we've picked this hotel even thoughit was far from where we needed to go due to the price, but had to pay $17 for parking which we were not informed. i really wish expedia would indicate the price of extra fees when posting this hotel to reserve.
“Very good!”
Very goo hotel!
“Will be booking again”
Had a great time in our short stay. Very helpful and friendly Front Desk staff. The rooms have recently been renovated and have an upscale feel. We will be back. Shuttle driver took our group everywhere we needed. Great service.
“It's average”
Hotel's room is a bit small but it's considered comfort. I don't like the bathroom door which is a sliding glass door and can't be locked. And the location is too close to the highway which is really noisy. Overall it's fine except that.
