“Aussie trip”

Had an awesome stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful and can not fault the Holiday Inn at all.. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay there!!!! San Diego was a beautiful place as well.... 5 out of 5 for everything with this place

“We Definitely Would Stay There Again.”

We stayed three nights at this hotel when we traveled to San Diego to see our grandson graduate from the MCRD. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast served each morning was far more than we had expected, as it included eggs and breakfast meats as well as all the usual continental breakfast items.

“Great hotel”

The staff was warm and welcoming. Very helpful. The people handling the food were very nice and did a great job. The food was good. The housekeeping staff did a great job and were very friendly. This was a great hotel to stay in. Very close to attractions with easy access. Great experience!

“Didn't expect”

I decided to stay here for the closeness to SeaWorld San Diego, which was perfect. Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to impress me since it wasn't the 5 star type where we are used to stay, but I was quite impressed. The size of the room was much bigger than I expected (probably a good 700sqft). It was impeccable. They offered a complimentary breakfast buffet, which was delicious (would recommend the pancakes). From the missing amenities, I would add a trash can on the living area (we didn't have one except in the bathroom) and toiletries. I do have to mention that there was a note that stated if you needed extra toiletries they would provide it at no extra cost. I didn't really have to contact the hotel staff. One last thing to mention, because of the cost, size and location of this hotel, do not expect to run into the most "classy" or "well mannered" people. There were other rude guests that I ran into, not very pleasant... I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

“Great, Comfortable In-and-Out Sleeper”

Title says it all. If you're looking for a great place to be in and out of, this Is it. It's location isn't right off the major street (Sports Arena Blvd). So it's immediate surrounding is a little different. Parking is limited, but wasn't a problem for a Friday night (late September, early October). View wasn't anything to be excited about. The room was clean and a very good size. The staff were ALL friendly and helpful. I have never seen such a great complimentary breakfast in an affordable express hotel in a long time. I'd definitely recommend for price, proximity to attractions, staff, presentation and breakfast.

“Last Minute Reservations”

We decide at the last minute to travel the night before instead of the morning of and now we are glad we did, the room was comfortable and close enough to MCRD to take a Taxi. Reserved through Expedia and had to problems.

“Nice room with nice price”

Room is clean, even smoking room doens't have a bad smell like other hotels. Nice breakfast served. Limited parking space for hotel guests, might have to park on the road side if full.

“Extremely Satisfied”

Hotel Staff were very friendly and down to earth. The room was very clean and fresh. The Location was very secluded from the main highway so the room was very peaceful.
