“good quality for the price”

nice clean and a good stay for the price. although location is a bit far from central san diego, it only takes less than 15 minutes on the highway to get there. (no traffic off course)

“Comfortable, clean and worth the cost.”

Very nice, I liked the clean and comfortable room, also a nice hearty breakfast, better than beagles and coffee.

“Just Okay”

There was some sort of huge group of teens (soccer sports groups) with their parents/chaperones when we checked in. The hotel seemed more like a college dorm due to the amount of teens there. While they were not overly noisy, we did ask for a room change to the other building. The hotel seemed to be going through a bit of a remodel project and there were areas that were less than ideal as to evidence of construction and some dust. We only stayed one night and basically chose the hotel due to other alternatives not being available. For what we paid for the nights stay, it could have been better and they could have at least thrown in breakfast which they wanted to charge 8.95 per person for what appeared to be a very marginal buffet-type arrangement. We ended up just going elsewhere to eat. The staff was courteous, the room was clean and the bathrooms appeared to be recently remodeled. The rooms in the main building have been recently renovated.

“Under going remodeling”

When we stayed there they were in the middle of a complete remodel so things weren't as clean as they normally would be. Location was great as we had business in Rancho Bernardo and it is convenient off the interstate.

“Decent hotel. Worth it for the price.”

The hotel was clean and comfortable and conveniently located. The only thing that was an issue was all of the construction going on. The hotel was worth it for the price, but it would have been nice to have been informed about the construction ahead of time.

“Could be better.”

This hotel is composed of a new building and, what appears to be, a very old building. Of course, having booked through Expedia, we were given rooms in the "old" portion. Our rooms were still under renevation and small things had yet to be done. None of our rooms had baseboards and although mostly complete, touch up paint needed to be added and the doors were disguisting. Renevations were still be conducted ont he second floor and it looked like the building should have been closed until all renevations were complete. When we booked, we asked for our room to have two queens, but when we arrived, the room we got had one queen and one pull out sofa bed. As we didn't arrive until nearly 11 pm, we just dealt with it. No free breakfast either, but there was an okay buffet for $8/person. Overall, if your just looking for a place to sleep and shower, this will get you thrgough. But if your looking for a place to stay for a couple of days and feel really comfortable, look elsewhere, becasue this isn't it.

“Overall nice hotel but lousy mattresses.”

Other than sleeping on an atrocious mattress (only about 5 inches thick and very firm), the hotel is nice.
