“Great Deal”

Internet access was great; Indigo Cafe had great food for reasonable cost; a.m. coffee/breakfast was a plus; bathrooms were very clean as were the other areas of the hotel, including the pool area.

this hotel's location is in the center of downtown, close to orange and blue trolley (3 minutes walking). it has free shuttle bus to airport and San Diego Zoo. you just need to tell the front desk staff one day before. the continental breakfast is also very good. they serve fresh and warm pancakes, eggs, toasts, etc. highly recommend this place.

“Great Place to stay downtown.”

This was a great value for it's location. We never used the complimentary breakfast, it was only served 7:30am-9:30am, our only complaint. Instead we ate at a great cafe attached to the hotel. When we did get up in time for the breakfast, we were unimpressed by the typical hotel breakfast food; we went to the cafe anyway. When we needed directions to local attractions or simply convenience stores, the staff at the hotel was very knowledgeable and helpful.

“free shuttle”

The free shuttle was great! Even though the hotel is near the zoo, it is hard to walk there because of highways. Sign up for the shuttle the night before and you are ready to go! The cookies and milk at 8 pm were a nice touch too.

“Plan on staying at the same hotel when we come back”

Our stay was very enjoyable. We were met at the airport within 10 minutes of our call by a complimentary hotel shuttle. The entire staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was great.

Very impressed with this hotel - it had great service and the location was perfect for exploring downtown San Diego. The breakfast had many healthy choices in addition to the yummy cinnamon rolls! I would choose this hotel again when visiting San Diego.

I'd recommend this hotel to anybody who's looking for a reasonable, comfortable place to stay at in downtown San Diego. They provided free breakfast buffet, free shuttle to and from the airport, and most importantly, the location was really good. It was only a few blocks from the trolley stop, and very convenient to and from downtown.
