“Quality but not deluxe”

If you are looking for reasonable, as reasonable as it can be in the San Diego area, this is a good spot. Close to beaches, walking, and a short 15 minutes into the city. Hotel service was fine; we didn't have towels in our room when we arrived but received them within 15 minutes. Breakfast area was clean, coffee hot, food sufficient for a quick morning bite.

“Clean and nicely furnished”

The room was very clean. It looked like it was recently redecorated. Carpets & bedding were like new. Front desk staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety and was plentiful. Great location for LegoLand. I would definitely return.

This Hotel was great, the staff were very attentive. The grounds were immaculately kept and the location was perfect for visiting Sea World, Knotts Berry Farm and the beach! We will definitely be back here again =)

The Cardiff-By-The-Sea area is beautiful. The shops are wonderful and the food is amazing at the waterfront restaurants.

The Beach House has amazing Surf and Turf. The Fillet Mignon was mouth watering and the lobster was to die for.

“Legoland/San Diego Crib”

Fair hotel to stay, it's clean, reasonable rates, and easy access to/from the freeway. I would not recommend this hotel though to light sleepers, due to freeway the noise and to people with the need to access internet while in a hotel. Although it's was free internet it was super, super slow connection, and virtually unusable for my VPN needs.

Fairly close to Legoland and San Diego.
