“Stay here and give Cardiff-by-the-Sea lots of well deserved business.”

Seaworld was our destination and one day at the beach. I think we squoze in four beaches. A former N. County local, I knew all the places and yes it has changed. Tremendously. Traffic is the worst. Beaches still beautiful. People are the friendliest I've ever met. We crammed everything we wanted to do in two days. One day to get there, one day back. The hotel was perfectly situated for everything we wanted to do. About central to the choice of 12 different good beaches.

“Convenient location”

Front desk personnel very friendly, helpful and quick. Room was as expected and we were able to be located away from the freeway side, making for a quieter experience. Breakfast included hot foods and enough for all (some hotels run out of food and don't restock). This is a great place to stay as a hub for day trips throughout the greater San Diego area. Convenient to wild animal park, beaches, shopping, galleries, horse racing and San Diego. Lots of good restaurants in the area too.

“Paid for a 3 stars inn but got a 4 stars hotel! Extremely best in town!”

Everythings are exellent! The front dest stuff are so friendly they just like your friend! and they have a free parking lot.

“Clean and nicely furnished”

The room was very clean. It looked like it was recently redecorated. Carpets & bedding were like new. Front desk staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety and was plentiful. Great location for LegoLand. I would definitely return.

“Great deal”

This hotel is the nicest we have stayed in for the price we paid. Very reasonable rates, but I felt we got more than hotels that charge more. Overall the hotel was kept up and in good repair. Staff was friendly and our room was comfortable. A great perk was the hot items at the breakfast. We stayed 3 nights and there was always an egg dish, a meat (bacon or sausage), warm cinnamon rolls and biscuits & gravy in addition to the normal continental breakfast fare you get at most hotels. Our only issue was that our refrigerator stopped working during our stay. We will definately return if we attend the Spirit West Coast Festival next year as hotel was only about 5 minutes down the freeway and half the price of any hotel in Del Mar.

“Quite Impressed-extremely nice hotel”

Was there for three days. Room quiet and extremely clean. Very nice staff-had a great stay. Jacuzzi and pool was a nice bonus. If you're into walking, ocean is about a 15 min. walk. Great area for vacation, and great convenient location to ocean. Have relatives here and will be staying again.
