“One of the best”

This hotel excelled. They provided excellent customer service, recommended good restaurants and made our stay there very enjoyable. The room was comfortable and pretty. Housekeeping did an excellent job making the room clean and comfortable. The patio was beautiful and the restaurant served good breakfast food. If we get a chance to go back to San Diego we hope to stay there again.

“Next to some Fair goodness!”

My girlfriend went to see a concert at the fair and got a good rate at this hotel, it is right across the street from the fairgrounds. Parking is pricey, but since its so close you don't need to move the car, we had a great time at this hotel. our rate came with a breakfast buffet, which was very good. The pool area and bar were nice and cozy--- had a wonderful weekend and a blast a the Melissa Etheridge concert, thanks Expedia and thanks Hilton!

“Awesome”

I can't remember the last time i have met so many nice employees in one business. The staff at the hotel maintained a genuine intrest in conversation and proved to be knowledgeable about the area. They provided "Service With A Smile" from the first delightfull phone greeting(Welcome to the Hilton...It's a beautiful day n Del Mar)to check out. I Will stay in this hotel again and recommend it to my friends.

“Quiet yet Convenient”

This hotel is so easy to get to and from the freeway. Convenient to Legoland and other places we wanted to see. The immediate area has a couple of good Mexican restaurants and Denny's is practically in the backyard. We were there for Easter weekend and missed out on the brunch the hotel put on but it looked wonderful. We ate there a couple of times. It was good and for a hotel the prices were very reasonable. Very impressed with our room overlooking the inner courtyard and pool. I think I would again splurge for the balcony and the quietness of it. It was quite roomy even though we were 2 adults and 2 teens. The beds were certainly comfortable. The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. The only criticism we had is that the tap in the bathroom sink would splash all over the counter. I think the taps are a bit too short or the design is wrong. We sopped up the water with wash cloths but it was a nuisance. However, we loved the privacy of the toilet in its own little room. It gave us the chance to use the toilet while the kids were in front of the mirror doing their hair as long as they wanted. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay there again.

The Hilton should have been rated a 4 plus. It was clean and very comfortable. Not to mention it was only 2o mintues away from downtown San Diego. Without paying the price of "San Diego"' we enojyed the city as well. We will definitely go back. Thank you Expedia once again for a great find!

good hotel especially if you need to be close to the Del Mar Fairgrounds & racetrack. its walking distance. the free shuttle is nice too. anywhere in a 5 mile radius for free. not bad

“Can't Wait Until Next Year!!!”

My Family and I stay at the Hilton every Labor Day weekend. The Hilton is perfect access to the race track. You can either walk or take the shuttle. The Hilton provides a shuttle to anywhere within five miles. The beach is just down the street, you have the race track, and little shopping places. The Hotel lobby is very nice. The Polo Lounge is awesome. You can just sit there and have a couple of drinks, watch a game, or just chat with people. The pool area is also very nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
