“Well worth the price for the suite!!!”
This is my second time in the past month and a half that I have stayed at this same Hyatt location. The staff is great, continential breakfast is yummy and is right off the freeway so its easier for me to get back home. Not only was the hotel nice, but it is located one exit away from the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. It couldn't have been a better trip!
“Surprisingly Nice”
Hotel is relatively new and the room was very comfortable, especially the sectional. It rained to beat the band and that was the perfect place to watch football and recover from an exhausting move. Literally , central to everything.
“The Most Family-Kid Friendly hotel in California.”
Planning for my 70th birthday with my grandchildren was indeed a pleasure especially when they said they wanted to go to Lego Land. We enjoyed seeing so many young families with the toddlers walking around. The breakfast set up was convenient and ideal because you were allowed to bring the food back to the privacy of your own room. I found the people at the front desk friendly and willing to please. The dining room staff were superb! When we left, my grandson had forgotten his gameboy and cartridges in the night stand. Your staff mailed the items to my home address and may I say that you made a seven-year old very happy. The rooms and premises were very well maintained. The only thing we found disappointing was that the pool was not heated -- but that was very minor. I will recommend this hotel for its quality. Aloha from Susan and her family -- Jeff & Nikki with their sons Mateus and Luke and Dan & Shari and their daughters Cameryn and Cassidy.
“enjoyed our stay”
We enjoyed the breakfast, room was clean and good location. We had booked a suite and the only problem was the room was a little cramped for 6 people.
“Convenient carlsbad hotel with average service & a bad view”
The hotel was a bit above average at an above average cost. It has a street on one side with a commuter train that runs every 45 minutes (200 yards away) and the busy 5 freeway on the other. There is no bellhop to help with your luggage. Its a great hotel if you are in need of a place to stay on the way to your vacation. I wouldn't stay there for a vacation unless it was only to go to Lego Land. There is no view other than the freeway, the train and some houses. When I checked out, they didn't say, "Thanks for staying with us" or anything. If there was a better option in that area I would take it.
“Good hotel for legoland”
Great hotel with good service. Very easy to get to legoland. Good buffet for breakfast and appetizes in the afternoon. Only complaint is the trains that run frequently by the west side of the hotel.
“Very Nice!”
The hotel overall is a great deal! The location was good. The beds were terrific - I almost liked them as much as mine at home. They had a very good hot breakfast, and during the week they had a happy hour which was pretty much like dinner and drinks (wine and beer). Value was outstanding. Very close to PizzaPort which was an incredible pizza place with beers brewed on location.
“The place to stay in Carlsbad.”
An excellent place to stay. Clean and very comfortable. Continental breakfast was good and included yogurt and fresh fruit. The entire staff was welcoming and willing to help. The van to Legoland, Carlsbad airport, local restaurants, etc. was especially appreciated. Lots of restaurants within one and a half miles. I definitely recommend the Inns of America Suites if you stay in Carlsbad, CA.
“Very clean, comfortable, relaxed.”
This is a great family hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms. Our room was a suite with a kitchen. The four of us were very happy with the room. Bathroom was large, seemed new, and was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good. Fresh items every day. Was always restocked within the time of breakfast and the server was very friendly and accommodating. Didn't use the pool or the gym but they looked very nice. Location is convenient to several attractions in that part of the state. I would highly recommend the hotel.
“Good hotel near Legoland, comfortable for family stay.”
Our family was looking for good location to go to Lego Land California and a comfortable place to stay with children. for the price at the time of the year I thought the hotel was nice and roomy. everything they had showed in the photos and reviews were as it was in the add. they had a small kitchen so that was good for young children. front desk was not crowded and friendly. continental breakfast was not that good, basically cold breakfast.
