“Great place and good value”
Although not on the seafront, the hotel is only a few minutes away from the Pacific. A very clean,stylish, well looked after, modern hotel with enormous rooms and a free cold breakfast (and cold beer/wine on some evenings!). Lovely pool and hot tub and so handy for the I-5 for heading to San Diego or Cardiff-by-the-sea... Didn't want to leave! Oh and the staff were excellent too, especially Charlie who showed us how to pour a beer!
“Very clean, comfortable, relaxed.”
This is a great family hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms. Our room was a suite with a kitchen. The four of us were very happy with the room. Bathroom was large, seemed new, and was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was good. Fresh items every day. Was always restocked within the time of breakfast and the server was very friendly and accommodating. Didn't use the pool or the gym but they looked very nice. Location is convenient to several attractions in that part of the state. I would highly recommend the hotel.

“Would definitely stay at this hotel in the future”
We were very pleased with the overall stay at Inns of America. The hotel was very clean. We were impressed with the quietness of the hotel. Hot tub was enjoyable. The only disappointment was that the pool was not heated. Since our weather was cool, this would have been nice, but not a big deal. Very nice to have a washer and dryer available. This was not listed on the hotel amenities, but was a nice surprise.

AMAZING! I am very picky when it comes to where I stay. I would definately rank this a four star hotel in comfort and location is not bad either.

Loved the hotel and employees. Very nice and friendly. My only complaint is the bed mattress was too soft. But that won't keep me from staying there again. This is a VERY nice facility - and within walking distance to the beach.
“The place to stay in Carlsbad.”
An excellent place to stay. Clean and very comfortable. Continental breakfast was good and included yogurt and fresh fruit. The entire staff was welcoming and willing to help. The van to Legoland, Carlsbad airport, local restaurants, etc. was especially appreciated. Lots of restaurants within one and a half miles. I definitely recommend the Inns of America Suites if you stay in Carlsbad, CA.
“Good hotel near Legoland, comfortable for family stay.”
Our family was looking for good location to go to Lego Land California and a comfortable place to stay with children. for the price at the time of the year I thought the hotel was nice and roomy. everything they had showed in the photos and reviews were as it was in the add. they had a small kitchen so that was good for young children. front desk was not crowded and friendly. continental breakfast was not that good, basically cold breakfast.
“We Loved This Hotel!!”
My nephew graduated from Marine Corps Boot Camp. Being from a small, rural community, we did not want to stay in San Diego. This location was just outstanding for our needs! Less that 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean, a block from Interstate 5 and only blocks away from great food and shopping. The hotel was extremely clean, staff was just outstanding and provided us with maps and sent us to great places to eat, shop and sight-see. Continental breakfast was great- fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, muffins, ceral, good coffee...nice variety. Price was well within our budget and family friendly. We loved everything about this hotel but the pillows.
“Use this Hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
We booked this hotel because it was cheap and close to Legoland. Little did I know it was going to be such a great experience. I was very skeptical with the price, but I really can not say enough about the hotel. Every morning they had a nice continental breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, english muffins, coffee and juices. The staff is very nice and helpful. They have a shuttle that goes to Legoland, so it's nice to get a break on parking. The ride to legoland is only about 5 minutes from the Hotel. It's also located close to a lot of good restaurants. We ate at Claimjumpers, Marie Calendars, Kings seafood (excellent lobster) and a couple places in the village. The room had a nice little kitchenette and the beds were very comfortable. I don't know why some people talk about the noise, it was very quiet. Yes there is a highway and a train track close, but never once did I think it was loud. I normally don't write reviews about hotels, but like I said before I really can't say enough for this place.
