“Can get a better hotel closer to legoland”

The room was great but most rooms are. There was no breakfast and we had to walk all around to find the pool and hottub. We finally find the Hottub and a sucurity guy comes and asks me how old I was and if I was staying in the hotel. I am 27 and yes I am staying in the hotel. I don't know what was going on but he had no right to ask me that. I didn't like it one bit and would not stay there again.

“great stay”

located right next to Legoland we walked over. Very nice. The rooms were clean and spacey. The pool was not close to us was the only negative. Great hotel.

“Felt like I was Home!”

The travel season was not in but boy did we enjoy our stay! We went to Legoland for our son's third birthday. They have a shuttle that drops you off saving you $15 in parking plus the hassle! Priceless. The hotel was quite Luxorious for the price tag. The service was extraordinary and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. The adjacent restaurant Karl Strauss was a bonus. Great food and even better brewed beer. Would have loved to tried out the gorgeous Olympic sized pool but weather did not permit. We will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend the Grand Pacific Palisades!

“Outstanding service and overal experience”

The hotel is very nice and looks just like it is presented in the online photos. The staff were all very courteous and even called to check on us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. They provide a free shuttle to and from Legoland which is a huge plus. We definitely enjoyed our stay there and will return when visiting Legoland again.

“Great stay for families”

This is a great hotel for people with families. The 2 bed suite is big enough for 2 adults/3 kids. The main living space is large enough to allow for the grown ups and kids to share the space. You get two bathrooms and extended cable in each room. The hotel and grounds are very clean and the layout is cosy and very accessible. This is not a glamour hotel (no fancy marble enterance), it's more on the pratical side with good parking and easy access to stairs and elevators. The pool/kids water park/kids playground are all very good and very well maintained. The hot tub can get a little packed but there are seperate hot tubs/pools for over 17s on the other side of the hotel. The location is near to a good number of restaurants and shops (its opposite Costco and Legoland). The only thing that I had concerns about was the weather. During or mid Aug stay, the place was surrounding by permenant fog. I was told this had something to do with the sun and surrounding cold water. Anyway the sun hardly broke through even though the weather reports said it would. Therefore it was always a little cold when using the pool and surrounding beaches. You could see the sun through the fog it just couldn't break through. In the end we spent alot of time driving 20-30 mins south to sunnier locations (La Jolla/San Diego). All in all a great hotel just a shame we couldn't fully enjoy it.

“Superb Family Getaway!”

My family of 5 absolutely LOVED the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort and Hotel. The family pool was amazing and the kids loved the playground and water park. We loved bbq'ing outside by the pool while the kids played. The proximity to Legoland is also fantastic just being a short walk away! Can't wait to get back!

“Clean and comfortable”

My room was spotless, staff was friendly and pool was clean! If your a drinker then bring your own cooler. Hotel has no real pool service for alcoholic beverages, so save your own money and load up the igloo.

“Nice stay....terrible housekeeping.”

The hotel is very close to Legoland. The room was comfortable, but the housekeeping was the worst I have ever experienced. We had multiple problems throughout our stay. When we checked into our room, the carpet had been shampooed and were still wet. We found someone elses dirty socks under the bed. The towels/washclothes were not stocked after being cleaned. Other than those inconveniences, a good stay.
