Based on some of the reviews, I expected a horror house. Instead, I got a clean room, plenty of hot running water, a quality breakfast, friendly service, quiet evenings, working AC, and Comedy Central. Given the great rates, Good Nite Inn really cannot be beat.

Nothing to complain about. Great beds, great shower with plenty of hot water. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Easy access to the freeway and lots of restrauants.

When I return to the San Diego area I will try to stay here as it had what I needed for short nights while away during the day. The staff was very pleasant and efficient. This motel is right off of I-5 but there was no noise from I-5. There is a seafood restaurant on one side of the hotel and a Mexican one on the other side. Access to and from the freeway is easy and there is a natural area across from the motel. Just south of the motel is a park that is about a 7 minute walk. There is no residential housing on the motel side of the freeway. Parking was free and there were plenty of spaces.

Stayed there before good motel. staff great. Only problem had king bed and sheets seemed a little small kept coming off of mattress. Resturants close mile from boat docks every close;
