Good Nite Inn Chula Vista is only one block from stops for both the San Diego Trolley and the San Diego Transit System. Instead of renting a car, many guests choose to walk to the Trolley/transit stop for travel to downtown San Diego, Mexico, and both Qualcomm Stadium and Petco Park.

“Excellent!”
This is my second time here. Both times, the experience was excellent in terms of staff, rooms, value-for-dollar.
“Great Location with a Great Price!!!”
For the price you pay, you get a really great hotel. Yes we all know this isn't a 5 star but its a lot better than other hotels with the same estimated going rates. I had my spouse and three children with me. I wouldn't pick another place. Right next to a restaurant, close to the beach and really close to the freeway. Give it a try and im sure you won't regret it!!

Location was excellent. Beautiful view of San Diego Harbour, right around the corner from the famous San Diego Trolley System. Right off I-5, so easy to get off and on highway.

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. I would return any time.
“pleasantly surprised”
My boyfriend and I were very pleased with these accommodations, at first we were hesitant to book here due to the mixed reviews but I'm glad we did. The rooms are pretty standard, but clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. The staff is great, the burnt out light was replaced quickly and all our needs were met (at various points during our stay we needed an iron, tape, scissors). Then there is Chula Vista, it's not downtown san diego but it's awesome. The best pancake house is just down the street and there is yummy inexpensive casual restaurants all around. And we wanted to see lots of places outside of san diego (la jolla, the desert, etc) so being outside of the city was in no way inconvenient. It is a good value!!
“Great Place to Stay for the Whole Family”
Great place to stay. Centerally located to all major tourist attractions! Pool clean and surrounding grounds and rooms well kept. Staff is awesome!!!
“Excellent Value”
We stayed here to visit family in Chula Vista and to visit the Zoo. The location is very convient... just off the freeway... one block from the trolley. Bland budget breakfast (pastry and coffee). Nice quiet budget hotel...
