“Quality Boutique”

This was a quality hotel in a great location. We reserved a suite on the ninth floor which was spacious and well appointed. We soaked in the amazing views of San Diego and the Gas Lamp District from our room as well as the large patio on the roof of the building. The hotel is reasonably priced, especially when you compare it to the named brand hotels. Because it is situated in the center of the Gas Lamp District, it is very easy to be entertained by an excellent variety of nightlife and restaurants until the wee hours.

“Business in San Diego”

I stayed several nights at the Gas Plaza Suites while on business. Good location - right downtown. The rooms and hotel were well kept and always clean. Service was very friendly and always eager to help. Would definately stay there again.

We were enveloped in the charm and character of historic San Diego. We were surrounded by the beauty of the harbor and the roof top lounge offered amazing views of the city. The hotel location offered us nightly excitement in the GasLamp District and relaxation in the comfortable suites.

“can't wait to go back”

really really nice hotel. perfect location right in the middle of gaslamp quarter. very very friendly staff in the front who gave my group the room on the highest floor, discount coupons for restaurants, etc. Great view of city. One bed and one sofa bed, so upto 4 people can check in without any discomforts. parking is $28 per night, but every other hotel is like that. And yes, it is quite noisy due to a nightclub right next to it, but it didn't matter to me and my friends because we were gonna stay up late and chat anyway.

“Great Location for a short stay”

We were really impressed with the location of this hotel based on the rate we got. The view from our room was excellent and was very spacious. The only negative comment would be that since the location of the hotel is in the vibrant gas lamp quarters you can hear the noise from the steets, however this can be expected when you see how centrally its located. The breakfast was very basic and typical for most of these types of places. We ended up paying $26 for the hotel valet parking which is slightly costly.

“Great location”

This hotel is in a perfect location with walking access to restaurants, bars and the harbour. Staff are friendly and the rooms are beatifully decorated. The rooftop is a real bonus and open until 11pm each night so you can take your own food/drink up there and enjoy the view.

This is a very nice hotel, with good value for the dollar. The location is excellent, and staff very accommodating. I have stayed in this hotel several times, and I will go back whenever business or pleasure take me to San Diego.
