“great place to stay...”

We picked this hotel because it is close to the zoo and to the mexico border. Very nice clean hotel. room was great. the staff were really nice and helpful. Only complaint is that the AC in our room was very loud. We would stay here again.

“Very clean stay and not a single problem”

The hotel was priced right. You definitely need a car to get around as it's a little off the beaten path, but it's very convenient to 163, so we didn't need it right on the beach or right in the middle of town. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They were remodeling while we were there, but it didn't bother us a bit as they just had areas marked off where they were putting carpet down or they had a couple of guys painting the railings. No inconvenience, and we appreciated a quiet, convenient, and clean place.

“Impressed”

Hotel had great service. I arrived at 10pm and someone was ready to greet me a soon as I walked throught he door. I was checked in with room keys in hand within 5 minutes. Hotel and rooms were in great condition and clean!

“A pleasant stay.”

i used the hotel for a quiet overnite stay for my Mom who just had a hospital procedure. The staff were very accomidating. I went to the front desk for help with our heater & the maintence man was there before I got back to the room. The decor could use updating as it was alittle old but it was clean.. The amenities fridge,microwave & coffee maker were nice touch. It was a very quiet place. The view of the golf course outside our window was very pleasant. It was perfect for what we needed.

“Nice hotel to stay in.”

The hotel was clean and quiet. I was in San Diego for a wedding and the reception was also held @ the hotel. The set up for the reception was superb. I would like to see more menu variety for food.

“Nice hotel with lacking stairs”

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are in three wings. It's strange that there are no stairs or elevators at the end of the wings, so if you want to go out through the door at the end of the ground level you have to walk first towards the reception to take the stairs or elevators and then back again. This is also a safety issue in case of fire (no fire stairs at the end of the wings either). The room has a coffee maker with all accessories except a stirring stick.

“Unsure”

I stayed here because it stated that it has a shuttle to the San Diego Chargers Stadium. However, the shuttle only takes you to a surrounding area...then you must take the light rail to the stadium. After the game, the line for the light rail is about 2 hours long. Luckily, the beds were very comfortable so it made up for the lack of the shuttle ride to the stadium. The front desk staff was not very knowlegeable on how to getto the stadium either

“Good Clean Hotel With Pet Policy”

The hotel was very clean and well maintained and included free parking. The staff was very friendly upon check in, however after traveling twelve hours over two days, we were very disappointed that our hotel room was not ready at 3:00. Additionally, although the hotel has a pet policy, we were unaware that part of their policy requires somebody to be in the room with the dog at all times, and that the hotel can charge us for any surrounding guests who complain of any noise. Besides those two complaints, our hotel stay was positive and pleasant.
