“Very Impressive”

I am impressed with the hotel owner. I felt like I was part of the family. room are clean, bed is sooooo comfortable. Locations are excellet! I will defenitely come back! I recomend to everyone.

We were thoroughly impressed with El Primero. The friendly owners have put an incredible amount of work into restoring and personally running this wonderful old hotel. Our room was spotless, the breakfast was great, and the courtyard was beautiful. The entire place was quaint and charming!

“A GREAT little get away - you will be pampered”

My husband and I went to the el primero for my 30th birthday weekend. We had a blast. Itis a cute little historic B&B very close to San Diego. Easy to get to. The breakfast in the courtyard each morning is wonderful and fresh, a real treat. the owners are interested in making you feel special and making your stay memorable

“Great Service”

While our room was a bit small and the shower/bathroom combo a bit cramped - one could see a lot of thought went into the hotel and the room themes. The rooms were clean, and the outside sitting area for breakfast was very pleasant. Breakfast was a step above the usual 'continental breakfast of an apple and a doughnut' that other hotels offer. Overall, the wonderful personalities of the owners make this hotel a place to stay, and furthermore, a place to return to when in the area again. They are very friendly and attentive, and genuinely seem invested in their guests.

“Great place to stay”

This B&B is located in downtown Chula Vista. It is close to some good restaurants and, although located downtown, it was a safe neighborhood to walk around in. Rooms were clean and confortable. They had enclosed, off street parking. They served an excellent breakfast.Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

“relaxing get a way”

great hotel, great location, great service, great security, great hosts. wish I would have done more checking on the room size. They had larger rooms available and I will reserve a larger room next time. Will definally stay at this hotel again.

The area around the hotel is an older part of town but is well kept. The hotel is quaint and the owners are on site and very attentive.

“Quaint and Friendly”

If you like a personal experience at a hotel this is the place for you. The hotel was very nicely decorated, the room was a little small, only about 15 min from San Diego and the airport about 30-45 min from La Jolla Beach. It has a bed and breakfast feel to it and the service is very personal and the small staff is very friendly. It was VERY clean, the service was VERY prompt and it wasn't in a questionable area at all. They have a complimentary breakfast and are located near a mall, 7-11 and other stores/shopping center. Very nice owner, I was just there to visit the beach and it was a nice stay.
