“Convenient location just off I5, late night checkin, near by restaurants for Late/Breakfast.”

Hotel is located near by I5, Walked to near by restaurant for a Latte and breakfast. Sea World is 12 miles from this place - better price when compared to hotels near by Sea World.

“Not Impressed”

The price was quite reasonable, however, the overall quality of the hotel was just not worth it. I'd recommend paying a few dollars more and staying at a hotel with better reviews.

“not impressed”

they were remodeling some rooms and started at 7AM... I wanna sleepin on my vacation :( it was terrible to have someone being loud outside your window while you are trying to sleep... they could have atleast waited until 10 or so... People on their vacation want to relax not have someone knocking on their door at 8AM because they need to put new blinds up....

“San Diego South Bay/Chula Vista”

Fantastic hotel! Very clean and comfortable! Brand new Black Angus restaurant just across the parking lot with excellent service! Location was very easy to get to and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again! Very impressed!!

“Not good for sleeping”

The first room we were given had several holes in the walls and graffiti on the lampshade. We paid for a non smoking room, but the room was putrid with smoke, and the bedsheets were covered with cigarette burns. They moved us to a better room, but each night at 1 AM they allowed a group of people to check in and they loudly chattered in spanish until 5AM... I called the front desk 4 times that night to shut them up, but they only took action at 5:30AM and by that time I was already awake... Each night was about the same even though they told me they kicked out the first group. So if you intend on sleeping, you will need to continue to call the front desk until your neighbors shut up. They are renovating the place, so maybe in a year it will be nicer to look at.

Area recommendations

Go south on 5 to 75 West to hang out at the Silver Strand beach... Very Nice. costs $10 to park.

“It works”

Had to sleep one night there on business trip, just needed a place to shower and catch a few hours of sleep. It was decent, as expected for the price i paid.

“This is a no frills place”

We were flying out of Tijuana early in the morning so decided to stay the night in Chula Vista and take an early trolley. It worked out very well. The hotel is very basic but it's clean, the sheets were clean. I was surprised three was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom but I had my own so not a problem. They had a continental breakfast which was very basic.

“Not impressed”

The inside of our room was very outdated and in need of minor repairs. There was wall paper peeling off of the walls. The bathroom door did not close all of the way because something was warped, not sure if it was the door or the floor. There was water damage around the walls of the bathroom door and missing tile around the bathroom. There was a noise coming from behind the fridge the entire time. You could only run the a/c on high or low. The bed was confortable though. The pillows were the small square pillows that one would use on a couch, except with pillowcases on them.
