“Pleasant stay”

I thought this hotel was great. It was not a luxury hotel, but it was a very comfortable hotel in a GREAT location. Close to the airport, free shuttle to the airport, walking distance to the bay and inexpensive. I would definetely stay here again. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed there before and after our cruise...great location...could see the cruise ships and airport from the hotel...the included shuttle service was excellent and the front office staff very helpful..we'll stay there again!

“A Better Days Inn”

This hotel is better than most Days Inns--extra pillows on the beds, decently thick towels were the notable improvements. I picked this property because it offered both airport and cruise pier complimentary shuttles. And even though it was almost directly under the path of incoming flights, once inside the noise wasn't bothersome. And they even let us check in early--greatly appreciated, since I hadn't managed to get to sleep the night before. There weren't many restaurants within walking distance for 2 overweight seniors. "Nearby" is a relative term, depending on whether you have a car or not. But the Mexican restaurant 2 blocks down the street was good.

Hotel was close to everything. 2 blocks from trolley station. Free shuttle to Airport and Cruise Ship Great Restraunts in Little Italy Free Continental Breakfast saves money on Meals I will definatly be going back

“Good location for sight seeing and as a stopover for the cruise ships.”

Rooms have been renovated with attractive furnishings, containing fridge and microwave. Breakfast provided is satisfying, and can be taken to room on a tray. Hotel is convenient for cruise ships, railway station and bus service. Restaurants nearby for breakfast and dinner, all within walking distance. Shuttles from airport and to ships are free and prompt when called. The cost of our stay was inexpensive, the convenience of the location was invaluable.

Nice hotel. Good price. Clean. Good location close to airport/cruise ship dock/Balboa Park/downtown. Excellent front office staff-helpful, courteous etc. Nice complimentary breakfast. Good free shuttle service to/from airport and cruise ship dock. Some noise from airplanes and trains however they never bothered our sleep. Would definitely stay again.

“Good basics”

Had a pleasant 8 night experience at the days inn - harbor view. Our room was great with 1 queen plus a sofa and cofa table. Having the HDTV there was great especially because I was able to connect it to my laptop and enjoy my own movies/TV shows. Location is great, right around the corner from the trolley stop. Room was clean and had all the basics including a fridge, microwave, safe, etc. Internet was a little slow but it was free! There's also free parking! We spent a decent amount of time in the hotel room and enjoyed it very much. No noise from other rooms, but you could hear trains honking once in a while, although it did not bother us. We recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable clean hotel with many features at a great rate and close to downtown.

“Excellent hotel for the price you pay”

I was very impressed with our room size. It was really big and clean with a big bathroom and closet space as well as security safe and flat screen TV. We had a fridge as well and free wifi in our room. Breakfast was also included which was enough for us. Cereal toast and Danish pastries. Free parking and close to Little Italy district and view of the harbor. Very happy with this place. We stayed at La Pensione afterwards on another date because Days Inn was booked out and Days Inn was far better

Rooms are not fancy, but if you want to be close to the airport with free shuttle and close to great attractions - This is your place! Very friendly staff!
