“Smallest room ever”

Ridiculously small room....maybe ok for one person but terrible for two

“Great Hotel at a Great Price - Outstanding Service Rules”

Not really sure why this hotel currently has a low rating, except that possibly people don't have time to fill out surveys, which is why I am. The Days Inn Encinitas is a great hotel, and the price is always right especially when located a stone's throw to the ocean. It's right off I-5, has a 24hr restaurant on premises, offers free in-room wi-fi, free parking, free continental breakfast, free coffee all day (in-room also), FREE IN-ROOM REFRIGERATOR/freezer/microwave (that's huge to me also), a small business center ... what more do you want? I am a business traveler and customer service and wi-fi is the most important thing to me. The service cannot be beaten at the Days Inn Encinitas. The manager, Maria, is happy to help, as is all of her staff - Boris, Gary, Misha, and the rest. These people are great. The housekeeping staff is wonderful. I ask to be left alone with no service most of the time I am at this hotel because I bring several computers and a lot of work product with me; the hotel always accommodates me. They clean my room late, early, or not at all - whatever I want. They extend my stay with a smile - at the front desk, by phone, or whatever (and they all deserve a raise). The service CANNOT be beaten here. The rooms are slightly small, but the price is right. Worth it, every day, any day. THANK YOU MARIA & STAFF!

“Nice hotel to stay”

The hotel is clean and nice to stay. The level close to a decent hotel in the city.

“Good value, excellent service”

For what you pay, this is a really good deal. 10 minute walk to the beach & D street. Denny's in the carpark. Great location. Very excellent customer service, I booked the wrong date, and they were extremely helpful in liaising with Expedia to get the check in correct and sorted with little fuss and quickly

“Clean and easy frwy access”

Just a quick stay-8pm until 6 am-but place was clean and found it to be less noisy than many other places I've stayed.

“Best service, location and overall convenience”

Staff was great. Very convenient location, walking distance to the beach and 300 ft from the freeway. Alexis at the front desk is the best!

“Very small rooms,and I question the bed size,Queen I don't think so”

As above the room was small for only 2 people,the bed was more like a full not a queen. We left at 6am to go to a event and returned at 2 and are room wasn't made up yet. It was clean,staff nice,coffee shop right there. I wouldn't stay there again due to room size. It was close to the beach& town,not to noisey.

“Not really your best bet”

Probably the smallest room I have ever stayed in. A closet would be more accurate. I travel just shy of 90 days a year. Wont be going back. Better to spend the extra 10 or 20 dollars and be able to change my mind without stepping outside the room

“Nice place -- great location!”

This is is our favorite hotel to stay in when we visit family in Encinitas. It is in a very convenient location -- close to the freeway -- with no freeway noise. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and well-maintained. We always feel comfortable and welcome when we stay. The free continental breakfast offers a good selection of food -- but you also have Denny's right on the premises if you don't want to drive anywhere!
