“Great choice”

This hotel was in a great location, easy and close to so many activities. Beautiful courtyards/gardens. Breakfast buffet was nice, but Sunday Brunch was AMAZING!

“Exceeded Expectations”

Everything about the Crowne Plaza Hanalei was wonderful-the check in went very smoothly, our room was comfortable (especially the bed) and nicely decorated, the grounds are full of tropical plants and the location was great! A quick hop onto the freeway and only 10-15 minutes away from the Zoo, Downtown, the Gaslamp Quarter, just every tourist destination you could want! Will definitely be returning the next time I go to San Diego!

“Awesome Experiance”

My family and I stayed for 4 days. Arrived after 11:00 pm from an all day flight and to my surprise they had a restaurant that was open for service. Next morning woke up late and missed the shuttle to Sea World no problem they made arrangements and shuttled us off to Sea World. That evening the shuttle took us to the store as well. Room service resonably priced and good. Staff friendly and oh so accomidating. Even though the hotel is right on the highway the rooms are extremly quiet. We loved our experiance. I would highly recommend The Crown Plaza for a great family hotel to stay in for a San Diego vaction

My friend and I enjoyed our stay very much, we loved the rainforest like feel to the middle of the hotel, we took pictures every where. We would definitely stay there again.

“Would stay there again”

The people that work at the hotel are very helpful and courteous. When we needed more coffee or other essentials, they had them to our room quickly. One downside was that they threw away our food from a very expensive restaurant that we had sitting on the desk a in containers but they offered us a free meal in their restaurant at the hotel. The $12/day parking is ridiculous.

Booked hotel not knowing the name but purely on availability and price and was pleasantly surprised. Experience was better than expected.

“Wonderful experience”

This hotel was a surprise - we expected it to be good, but it was actually wonderful. The restaurant's menu, service and food were far above what you'd expect for the price, the staff couldn't have been friendlier, and the hotel itself, while not new, is exceptionally well maintained. The room had both microwave and fridge, and the bed was an oasis of comfort. The entire hotel is non-smoking, so sitting on the balcony at the end of the day enjoying the San Diego air is an enjoyable experience, too. Would definitely return, and recommend to anyone, even if this hotel were not a bargain at the price.

“Waterfalls & Relaxation”

Beautiful hotel for affordable price. We were very impressed when we arrived. Gorgeous waterfalls, Koi ponds and atrium in front of our room. We were on the 1st floor which was very convenient. There were also areas with table & chairs to sit in the atrium. The room was pretty and bed was very comfortable. We had a balcony but would have liked a refrigerator. We loved the pool and whirlpool, yet we wished they hadn't closed the hot tub while we were still using it! The hotel location was easy to find and close to Old Town. We used the free shuttle service to go to Old Town too. Nice staff and clean hotel.
