“Central Location, Clean Room, Great Stay”
We had a great 4 nights at this Courtyard. The location, though not downtown, was really central to all the things I wanted to see. Just make sure you have a car. I agree with the other reviewers that the fee per night for parking seems unreasonably high for a suburban-like location. The free internet service worked great, however. The room was comfortable and clean and the hotel looked newly remodeled. One gripe was that we tried to get discounted zoo tickets three separate times with no success. At first, they didn't have anyone at the hotel who could sell them to us (we asked pretty late at night). The next two times they only had one ticket, and we needed two. Ultimately we had to go to the navy commissary to get tickets instead (good thing my travel companion has a military id!). Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel. And we got a killer deal when we booked our flight and hotel together. Couldn’t have booked at the Howard Johnson or La Quinta with what we paid for our room! Thanks, Expedia!
“Great ammenities!”
The staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed the fact that there was a workout facility that wasn't an extra expense! The breakfast cafe was lovely.
“wii be back”
Over night parking charge....?
“Will Definately Come Back”
This hotel is located in Hotel Circle and is close to everything (Old Town, Sea World, Downtown). Our room was very nice and I was impressed with the size of it. The pool area was also very nice and not crowded. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool in the cabana area. My husband and I have decided that we do not want to stay anywhere else when we are in San Diego but here!
“Better than expected”
Just stayed one night, was worried when I saw other hotels on way to Marriot, but was very impressed. Clean and newly renovated. Close to Fashion Valley Mall.
“Good Location, Close to Shopping, Zoo and Resturants”
We booked the hotel based on reviews of the property from expedia and wasn't disappointed. The room was comfortable, the location close to both downtown and the Zoo. Gettng to all corners of the city was easy and the large mall accross the freeway was handy. Several resturants are close and the bistro in the lobby was handy for evening snacks and great for a casual breakfast while watching the tv's at the table.
“Hotel Circles Best Choice”
I just wish we didn't have to pay $16 a day to park. That's just wrong. Other than that I really loved this hotel. We had a great view of Mission Valley. We slept in a king deluxe room that was plenty for my family of four. I have a 9 & & year old. They slept on the let out sofa. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. This hotel is one of the nicest on hotel circle. We didn't get to use the pool. It was very small and full of kids. The hotel should consider having the pool enlarged.
“Sunny San Diego”
Hotel was great. It was clean, and very quiet. Couldn't hear any noise next door or in the hallway. Staff seemed to know when i would be out because even when i left for short periods of time they still managed to sneak in and clean my room very well which was was very big for me. I hate a dirty hotel!
“Marriott Courtyard, Hotel Circle South, San Diego, CA”
The only issue with the hotel was it's first-floor snack bar. The line was always long and it took forever to order food and just as long until it was served. Expected much more from a Marriott.
“Great stay”
We really enjoyed the room of the hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was soooo comfortable that it was difficult to get up. The location of the hotel was great, not to far from Petco Park or any other sights around.
