“Great location, great price, great service”

I stayed at this hotel over the course of a weekend. The location was great for the Gaslamp District, close to Horton Plaza, the trolley, and several restaurants at a reasonable price. It's a great historical building with very friendly staff.

“I liked it!”

I had a great time at this hotel. It was very close and local to the main attractions at san diego. The staff was VERY NICE & understanding. They are very attentive and i enjoyed their service. Totally would go there again.

“Definitely Recommend”

Our stay was great. Never have I stayed at another hotel where the staff was this friendly and helpful, the room was nice. Great location, got drunk with my boyfriend about 2 blocks away, the hotel is right in the middle of everything. Great location! And Ashley, works at the hotel is extremely nice, she deserves a shout out! ;)

Love the hotel!!! the service was great. the staff there are super friendly. there is tons of great places to eat within little walking distance. I will go back again i love the location. its right in the gaslamp district!!

“Great location!!!”

Hotel is located 2 block from Gaslamp and this made it real convienent. The hotel is a renovated bank and they did a nice job. Rooms were clean and quiet. The parking was pricey ($30.00 a night and valet) but we parked across the street at Ace for $20.00 and it was self parking. We don't move our car once we get there so it worked for us. Overall I would stay again.

“Loved the building”

If u are interested in staying close to the Gas Lamp Quarter in San Diego and want something more than cookie cutter hotel room, try this place. Still looks like a bank outside and in but with all the comfort one expects for the price. Very good, friendly service, everybody there seemed concerned that we got maximum service without intrusions.

“Very happy with our choice!”

This hotel has character. This is an old bank with a very cool vault in the basement. Felt like you were walking down the hallway of an old office building when you were going to your room. I didn't think it was creepy, I really liked it. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. I would definitely stay here again. This hotel was a pleasant surprise.

Gaslamp Quarter had lots of restaurants and shops.

Ate at a breakfast place a couple of blocks down from the hotel (West on Broadway). They had HUGE breakfasts and great Bloody Mary's. They were open 24/7 too.

“Valet parking---too much $$$!!!”

The hotel is beautiful, I will give them that. The only thing I was unhappy about was the fact that we had to pay $30 a night to valet park the car. We had debated back and forth between a few hotels and a lot of other hotels in the area include the valet parking in the cost of the hotel room. Although this might be a more "economical"hotel to some, I don't usually spend this kind of money on hotel rooms. That really was the only complaint though. The room was nice and clean. Everything was with in walking distance. There is a 7-11 on the backside of the hotel that came in handy when we needed water after a long night of having fun!
