“You could ballroom dance in that room”

The room was huge! There was a sitting area with some of the most unconfortable furniture in it you could possibly imagine- but everything else was great. The bathroom set-up was interesting with the toilet and tub in a seperate room and the sink in the main room. We were only there overnight but if we had to return to that area we would stay there again.

My family and I went to Carlsbad for the weekend to go to Legoland. We found the hotel staff to be extremely friendly and our requests for extra shampoo and a crib for the baby were taken care of immediately. We also received wonderful recommendations for dinner and the breakfast buffet at the hotel was really quite good.

“Good hotel in Carlsbad, CA”

This Courtyard Hotel was typical of the chain -- clean, functional, and relatively inexpensive. Our room was quiet and convenient to the parking lot. When we noticed the toilet leaking one morning, the service staff fixed it before we returned that evening. The hotel is not near the beach or shopping, but those features are only a short drive. Since we were visiting relatives in Carlsbad, beach proximity wasn't an issue. The first night we arrived after dark, and we would have had trouble finding the place if not for our GPS. It's tucked away off Palomar on a street that is not well lit, and it's sign is partially hidden by shrubbery.

this hotel is in a business park far from the freeway, unlike most other hotels in the area. it is very quiet and clean and great value for the money. the cafe has a nice buffet breakfast with omlettes to order and lots of fresh, quality food.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it's located in a quiet nice area. You have a lot of privacy. We would definitely stay there again if we go to that area again.

I was very impressed with the service at the hotel. I was working in the lobby one morning when my daughter accidentally spilled her drink on the table and near my laptop. One of the managers saw this and quickly ran over from the front desk to help clean up and make sure everything was fine. Very attentive staff. Only disappointment was not having a small refrigerator in the room which is one of the reasons we usually choose a Courtyard. They should rectify this situation.
