“Great place/Great Location”
Clean and centrally located. My only complaint is that I asked for fresh batteries for my TV remote within the first few minutes of my arrival. I was assured that they would be arriving in "a few minutes", after 4 days, they never arrived. No big deal, but not the attention to detail I am accustomed to.
“Always stay here!”
I might just be a creature of habit but I just love this hotel. I've stayed here almost every time I visit San Diego. It's not the largest and finest, but it offers a wonderfully comfortable place to unwind. The suite is divided by closing the sliding French door. Came in handy when hubby's snoring became an issue! Ha!! The bed is so comfortable with the down comforter and softy pillows. I can't comment on breakfast because we left early but there was always an assortment of pastry and fruit. Location might seem too far from downtown but the short 5 min drive was worth it. There is a parking fee at the hotel as well a downtown. That is the only draw back.
“Close to everything!!!!”
My family and I visited the hotel on one of the rainiest weekends in history. President's weekend 2005. We have stayed at other hotels, but the kids suite was A+++. The presentation of the property was thoughtful - the pool was in the center of the courtyard - not that we went swimming. Local restaurants were within walking distance from fast food burgers to sit down restaurants. The movie theatre and mall were minutes away. Loved that.
“Hotel made for a pleasant stay”
Enjoyed the hotel. Was clean, good value for price and in a good location. Although the room can be tight for 4 people, it worked well for us as we were only sleeping there. Nice pool, hot tub and reasonable continental breakfast.
“My Kids Loved It!!”
We stayed at this hotel for our vacation visit to San Diego. Our whole family enjoyed the stay! Complimentary continental breakfast was very nice and well kept. It also had great hours - 6:30 am till 9:30 am. I used the "coffee tray" to gather breakfast and we ate in our rooms. Pool and hot tub was a great way to unwind after our day. Room service was available everyday. My only negative complaint about this hotel would have to be the fact that the web cam video made our bedroom suit with kid's room - look alot bigger then I was expecting. But no worries - we had enough room to keep the kid's out of our hair. I would definately recommend this hotel to travelers with little kids - so those without be prepared for noise till pool is closed at 10 pm.
“comfort for a good price”
Hotel was clean, well maintained. and the staff was more than helpful.
“Only Hotel I Use When In San Diego”
This hotel in not only great for the price but is also cheaper then others in the area. The two rooms are great if you have kids, this place is very nice. There are others in the area that cost more and give you less, this place is simply great for the price. This is the only hotel I use when in San Diego..........
“Excellent Place to Stay”
The Hotel was conveniently located where i was conducting my business. With the continental breakfast served, i did not have to find a place to have a quick breakfast which was a plus for us travellers. Good breakfast and overall stay, very accomodating. I will surely book my next trip with comfort suite again. Thanks.
“twokidzndog”
Really great breakfast selections. And we loved having a separate 'room' for the kids to sleep. Thanks!
“Great family oriented hotel”
On our trip to San Diego, me and my two teens stood here and we absolutely loved it! The free breakfast each morning is a big money/time saver, that you could also eat outside in the patio area. The room could be a little cramped for some, but for us it wasn't an issue. We liked the fact that the hotel was full of families and my kids couldn't get enough of the pool/hot tub. Main attractions are are about a 15 minute ride away. I'm definitely looking to book a Comfort Suites hotel in our future travels.
